I have stopped in only to find him asleep....which he needs. I suggest a phone call to be sure a visit finds Harry up and about.

Went to visit tonight and he's not up for a visitor. Hasn't been for a couple days.

This would be a good spot to say something really poignant but I'm not sure I know what to think or how to say it. Now though would be a good time to keep Harry and his family in your thoughts.

    RIP TR

Tractor Rider, aka Harry Raynor, lost his gallant battle with cancer last night.
    :cry:cry:cry:cry:cry:cry

TR.... you fought the good fight and you'll never be out of my thoughts.
Enjoy your new roads and save a spot on the starting line for the rest of us.

I had just talked to Cathy late yesterday afternoon. She said he hadn’t been out of bed in three days so they moved him upstair. He didn’t seem to be in any pain.
Got the call from Louie later that night. I ask if I should say anything on this site, but they wanted to make some other calls to let people know first.

For whatever reason Harry & I had hit it off pretty good. Liked him a lot, & it seemed mutual.
Last time I rode a short way with him he was popping wheelies on his DR650.
It was hard to see him in the wheelchair & just getting worse. He fought the good fight for quite a while with all the chemo & radiation & the sickness that brings.
We all knew this was coming but it still hurts.

RIP, Harry. You are already very much missed & will be for a long, long time. :cry

    Harry you will be missed:cry:cry:cry

If tears could build a stairway
    and thoughts a memory lane
we'd walk right up to heaven
    and bring you home again
    No Farewell words were spoken
    No time to say good-bye
you were gone before we knew it
    And only God knows why.

Our heart's still active in sadness
    And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
    No one can ever know.
But now we know you want us
To mourn for you no more
To remember all the happy times
Life still has much in store.

    Since you'll never be forgotten
    we pledge to you today
A hallowed place within our heart's
    Is where you'll always stay.

God knows why, with chilling touch,
Death gathers those we love so much,
And what now seems so strange and dim,
Will all be clear, when we meet Him.
We Knew you for a Moment
