Ordered mine on the 29th of Dec just arrived this morning. Thank you looks like a great product.
Very handy even if you have a centrestand.
Just ordered one. Thank you!
Hello I would like to order one, shipping to France.
How can I Do?
Been using this kit for many years now. Holds up well. Well worth the money and storage space.
Thanks @sTE610vE , I’ve had this stand for a few years and it always seems to fit any bike
Looks a lot like the one I bought years ago, but with square foot, made of aluminum. It has been very handy! 'Won't leave home without it!
any chance getting a discount for the purchase of 12 sets.
i plan to donate them to the 2020 Death Valley Noobs Rally.
the set i bought many years ago is still in use. great product!
Just bought mine! Transitioning down from a 1290 to a 690 and with this I don’t think I’ll miss the centre stand!
Helps even when you have a center stand!
Based on my previous experiences, ordering directly from Europe can be really expensive and a painful process. On top of shipping costs (23.5 USD) and abusive exchange rates (Paypal, credit card or Bank), you might have to pay import taxes (fair) and “Customs processing fees” that are usually a % of total costs including shipping but have a minimum cost of 15-20 EUR (totally unfair). In addition, Customs take a few extra days and require the receiver to fill some online forms and pay. In summary, you end up paying a lot and waiting longer than expected.
My previous experiences (Mosko, Doubletake) weren’t very good. All of them used USPS as their international carrier. The packages went through Customs clearance. I’m not sure that UPS or DHL might had make a difference.
It would be great if you find a European distributor. Try firstname.lastname@example.org for the Spanish market. They might be interested.
Thanks for the input, yes selling to Europe is quite complicated and shipping is a big part of the issue. Unfortunately if you think USPS has high prices UPS and DHL are way beyond that, they want to charge anywhere from $80-100+ unless you are shipping very large quantities from my experience. All of the issue you mentioned on top of shipping to Europe also add complexity and cost. But check out this link it may be interesting as Lyndon Poskitt and I are trying to find a way. https://lyndonposkittracing.com/product/lyndons-trail-stand
Thanks Steve. The problem is not the USPS cost, it’s the overall cost when the package goes through Customs.
Order placed through Lyndon’s website.
On top of using it to hold a front up with a centerstand when your riding buddies get a flat you whip it out and can "supervise the repairs" without holding up their bike!
I've gotten so much use out of mine, I'm now on my 3rd bike and it fits great. I've even started using it in the shop when I can't be bothered to get the bike up on my scissor-lift for small tasks. Thanks!
