    I called Sam yesterday and asked him if he'd seen the article----------he had.
    I thought it was awesome--told some things I didn't know.
    He didn't like what was said at the end of the article-------don't remember what ??

    Flyover Country is my country, and most of the USA in fact; Sam's work gives us a now unusual way to really enjoy it. For me it is like turning back the clock and slowing down. I thought it was a good article, though a little condescending. With luck more than a few will take some interest and give the trip a try! Leave the VW at home for the CO section, although I did see an older woman with a Ford Explorer full of kids on the way up California Gulch once, and later down in Animas Forks. Hmmm, maybe the VW would be OK, at least on the new route.......
