No, we said the ride report couldn't be finished............
No, they said It absolutely, positively will never be done
What became of the other bikes used? I know the final one was sold at the end of the route.
Well, I'm awaiting it to happen soon,
Way back on a rainy day in January of 1948, Deep into the Mississippi Back Hollow Piney Woods, across Cold Creeks and up and over the Slick Red Clay Hills, my Mom & Dad rode me home from the Hospital on their 1946 Indian Chief with Goulding Rocket Sidecar.
Just so happen to have this bike sitting around.........
have you finished one yet?......
why yes. yes I have.
No hack attempt should be made without the monkey.
Bring it on!
It's good that you had help coming to push you up the hill.
Any better shots of the yeti stepping out from behind the rock on the left side of the pic? :huh
loch ness and yeti. out of focus pictures everytime - they sure are sneaky.
I'm a bit late to the party, but thanks for the summation. Handy info as I update/ modernize mine for similar foolishness.
Thanks for sharing.
I'd love to see you do one of your own RR. I checked your profile and you don't have a RR of your own? So how can you comment if you haven't done one of your own? Just saying!
Look, loved the idea for the trip, you guys have some serious cajones for even attempting the TAT on CT’s. I hoped that we would run into you guys. (We rode west, the “only” way to do it lmao). But seriously, you guys aren’t badass because of the bikes you rode, or what you did to them, but because of the WAY you rode, and your attitude about it! When I hear you guys saying stuff like, “sure we could have ridden KLR’s or DR’s, or even a GS!” I’m thinking back to what my father taught me as a kid. Use the right tool, for the right job, it makes all the difference. Ride what you have and just get out there. Just stating my opinion…As someone that just completed the TAT, and did a RR on it, I felt like I was qualified to leave these thoughts with ya’ll fine people among the muck of armchair adventurers. Cheers.
Nice job guys- You inspired another adventure for me... Now to convince the wife it is a good idea
