I first thought that was a roll chart made from a cigar box but then I realized...it's not a KLR:lol3

No sir not pretty or fun. I just locked up as long as could to scrub speed and then released at the very end to try and salvage some steering. Close call, but survived it, barely. You saw how slow I went the rest of that road ; )

And yes, been pricing dirt wheels for a few days now.

R11STEW rode back from Cedar Key to Flagler on Sunday with DrZ/FIL/me.....
IIRC he got an award for the oldest bike....and yes, it was a cigar box.
He was glad DrZ and myself had GPS's and did all the navigating that day!
    He was a little frustrated!!!

Doesn't mean we didn't take note. I think Inept has one made with a Pall Mall box.

Do you guys all ride together to help each other when you break down so much or do you just visit the dealership for one of the many mass recalls & just hang out together like Ewan & Charlie on a filmset!!!:rofl:rofl:rofl

Will the route chart be available before hand - or will we get it when we show up at the rider's meeting on the 8th?

Due to the special nature of this Rally, the route charts will only be available at the riders meeting. The route sheets will have special instructions on how to earn points on the way. Top points in each class will win.

I can reveal that it will start in the Daytona area on Saturday morning. End at Cedar Key Saturday Afternoon. Start at Cedar Key Sunday morning and end at Daytona Beach SUnday afternoon. The awards dinner will be at Daytona Beach.

Watch this thread for more details as we get closer. Also to give you some insight as to our progress on the route sheets, I am looking for some paper now, to start writing down some turns. :lol3 If all goes well we may be ready by the ride meeting.

    Cheers

That's cool, thanks. Will scissors, tape, etc. be available for preparing/loading the route sheets or do we need to plan to bring our own?

Sorry for all the questions... just want to be prepared.
