If you went to the beginning of this thread, and are using Rob23's route, they are easily identified as "Hero Loop". I'm not sure if that version has been ran/updated.
If you did a Google search & have XPlorer313's version, there are no Hero Sections. That version was drove/ridden/updated in Jan/Feb '20

did the a small north TNJT today. Had a bad case of Allergy, so popped an allegra and took the car instead ... loved it.. started at High Point State Park and had to turn back 1-2 miles into the fire road (Grau Rd) in Stokes Forest area due to a steep rocky watery climb (I had no spotter and there was a chance of bottoming out, so chickened out).

What turtlespeed said. It unzips & works fine in Gaia GPS & Google maps.
@Brutalguyracing Leon just completed a big milestone...he qualified for the Iron Butt Association's Saddle Sore 1000. He rode his Africa Twin 1057 miles in 18 hours!!!!

Got a much later start then expected, due to rain in the morning and the gps track needs some work as I hit several dead ends and my GPS got confused a lot.
I did 200 miles round trip and got beat up trying to keep a 30mph pace. I made it from Six Flags down to the intersection of 322, then I rode home because I was already 2 hours behind where I needed to be in order to make it home in time for dinner
I really enjoyed the ride and would love to work on improving the route if i have time.

Yes, it is a 2019 Husky mask.
It seems to fit the bike well and give it a more modern look

Hey all! Just signed on to the forum, new to this type of riding and would really like to check out the TNJT. How do I go about downloading the gps for this? Any help would be much appreciated. If anyone is in my neck of the woods I would love to meet some new riding buddies too! I’m in the Asbury Park area.

Dear All, for last 230mile section of TNJT in from Central to South Jersey, I feel that riding 5+ hours (to and fro) for a few hour ride does not make sense. So I am thinking of a weekend ride.

Sat morning start from Central Jersey , ride till Pine Barrens (~180 miles)
Stay the night in a motel (Plaza Motel, 6090 E Black Horse Pike, Mays Landing, NJ 08330, ~$50 / night) OR Camp in Pine Barens
Sunday morning complete the ride (~50 miles) and drive back (Few hours... for North Jersey inmates). We can take the scenic coastal route...

How about next weekend? 27 & 28 June.

I think we shoudl have at least 3 riders.... due to Pine Barens sections (we are not doing the tough sandy or single track sections)... and heavy bikes..

    Thoughts?

    Turtlespeed,
Thanks again for putting these together.
I kinda like the idea and am interested. Cant do that weekend but wouldnt want to hold up others who can.

Just saying.... I think having the proper tires will be more important for this section than the last. Especially if the the 10 day forecast of rain and T Showers holds up. This could mean lots of puddles, wet sand, mud, difficult traversing, etc. Damn, now that I put it that way, it definitely sounds like a good time.

@turtlespeed just a reminder that State Forest campgrounds are closed. I’ve camped at Turtle Run (private campground) & it was a decent experience. The TNJT puts you almost at their front door. Ridge Road hits 542 south of Batsto. It’s right across 542.

Wading Pines (https://www.wadingpines.com/) certainly looked open when I rode past on Tuesday...Dunno how close to the route it is but it's *in* the pines.

So I just completed two days of this, i found a couple of roads that were closed (prob due to the fact I’m using a two year old gpx file) def had some fun and I didn’t realize we actually had some gravel roads in the area.

I’ll be picking it back up next week, not too far from Jackson.
