IMG_2585.JPG First multi day trip of the year ! looking forward to getting away, clearing my mind and roasting some tires on riding along the TOT. Pretty simple, ride with some buddies from the fire department, and have some beers at the end of the day. Big thanks to all who made, and put together this route ! Head to MT Vernon tomorrow and go south.

So the first morning started out with a bungee cord snapping and my bags dragging behind me on the highway at 60mph. Made it to the meeting up and off we go.

IMG_3075.JPG IMG_3074.JPG Great Ohio riding so far. I sometimes forget how nice the riding is in my own backyard. Made to coshoctin for a nice break down by the river. Nice action shots of George taming the KLR IMG_3072.JPG

The KLR has ammo can side bags. A weld broke on the left side. Sitting still thank goodness. Fixed it with some hose clamps. Back on the road.

Great history and riding in Ohio. Enjoy it. I grew up in St. Clairsville (hour east of Zanesville), and remember the big bucket Gem of Egypt in action, run by Consolidated Coal Company. Several neighbors worked on it. Lit up like a ferris wheel at night, amazing sight as a youngster.

Eric got 2 bee stings. First one in the arm. Bee wen t up his sleeve. He hoped off his bike did the appropriate " bee dance". Get back on 5 minutes later he takes one to the neck. Relive the bee dance and all is well. Malong great time and miles today.
