    Hello Fellow Riders!
We're a couple from Poland, but currently waiting for our motorbike in New York. We're starting our life adventure here. Our BMW F650 GS Dakar is being shipped from Germany. As soon as we collect it from the harbor, we'll be heading to the Niagara Falls in Canada. And then we'll go back to the US through Chicago to ride across many states with natural wonders to finally reach the western coast in the winter. We want to experience both the most beautiful, famous routes as well the less known ones, recommended by local bikers. We don't know how long the journey is gonna be. We've quit our jobs, sold whatever we could and want to travel as long as we enjoy and can afford it. We would love explore the South America as well. So it's a low-budget expedition. We're equipped with a tent, travel cooker and will try to be as much independent as we can. It would be great to meet some of you on the way!

Good luck on your adventure! It sounds like you are open to whatever experience comes your way. If you are travelling through Massachusetts and need a place to stay, let me know. We enjoy meeting travelers from all over.

Thank you so much for the invitation! Unfortunately Massachusetts isn't on our way this time. From New York we're going straight to Buffalo and then to the Niagara Falls as we have to rush a bit to get to the mountains in Wyoming and Colorado before an autumn frost.

Have a brilliant trip here in the States, checked out your cool website https://lifewelove.com/en/. Free/wild camping is available anywhere, just find a remote, safe spot. USforest service has great free campsites, a lot of small towns have municipal camping, and the tent space in here is a wonderful resource. Also, you can post in the regional forums for route info and to warn people you will be passing thru....

Thank you guys, wonderful experiences so far, amazing people helping us on the way. We were hosted by ADV Riders in Forksville (PA), in St. Thomas in Canada, Chicago (IL), Clyde (WI), Sioux City (IA), Sheridan (WY), Jackson (WY), Durango (CO) and also met many on the road! It was such a pleasure and great time, interesting stories, really glad we could get to know such kind people!

It's been a month on the road, so we made a little summary:
    Having a pretty laid-back pace we've made 7 232 km.
We've had the pleasure to drive through the 13 US states and see a beautiful piece of southern Canada.
We could experience the urban, colorful pulse of life in New York and Chicago.
We've visited several remarkably stunning parks, including the Niagara Falls, Badlands, Custer, Yellowstone, Grand Titon, Colorado National Monument Park.
We've gained passes over 3 000 m a.s.l. and faced the snow at the Bear Tooth Pass in Wyoming.
We got to better know the fascinating story of Polish Ziółkowscy family, who for generations have been creating the biggest world rock monument in honor of the Indian chief Crazy Horse.
We danced "the friendship dance" with the descendants of the Lakota tribe.
We slept in a tent in various parts of nature, including those among bisons in the Badlands National Park or in the woods, when listening to the howling coyotes.
In Yellowstone for the first time we have admired the fountain of colourful geysers, had very close encounters with wild animals, and luckily we have seen a bear only from the distance, when it was climbing to top of the tree. We left the Yellowstone Park in the smoke of the burning forest.
In the Wild West, in Wyoming for the first time we've fired guns on the backyard.
We've tried all sorts of burgers, including meat from bison and elk and had a chance to taste cuisine from all over the world.
We've also seen (or rather tasted) how the locals of small town in Colorado celebrate the Oktoberfest.

The number of road accidents, extortion priority or insane drivers encountered: 0
We drown our motorbike a bit in the swamp trying to get to the Big Horn Canyon though and lost the right mirror, when on a mountain pass in Montana, strong wind knocked over our Dakar, while we hidden behind the rock were trying to get warm with a hot tea from a thermos.

Along the way, we shook countless hands of friendly people, who often were offering hospitality after only a few minutes of conversation.
We were lucky to be hosted by amazing people, courageous and inspiring, happy to share their stories and knowledge and to help in every case.
We've established the new, valuable friendships that we believe will be long-lasting.

Generally, we are very content that we've chosen the United States for a motorbike exploration. It's such a vast and geographically diverse land, with excellent routes, often in less populated areas where traffic is almost none. The whole country is rich in natural wonders that we would not see elsewhere. Gasoline is cheap, English language allows us to communicate freely with very easygoing and sociable Americans, landscape and weather change like in a kaleidoscope. When going to the West, you can extend the summertime for as long as you wish. And if you really want to, you can find a to follow the "slow food" diet ;)

Currently we're exploring Colorado. Not without reason it's a favorite state of many bikers. The alpine, winding passes in autumnal colors are breathtaking. We want to see here as much as possible before the roads are closed because of the snow. Then we'll go back to Utah, and there will stop for a little longer to take a break from the constant driving and to share photographs of the fabulous places we've explored.

Glad to see you're still doing well!

I suppose Radek is off to New York now? Enjoy the rest of the country and good luck with your quest for "slow food",

Yes, we actually split with Radek about 2 weeks ago, he managed to get to Las Vegas during this time and lose his fortune there ;) Now he's heading back to NY.
    Best regards!

Marsha and I are leaving for Boston & New York tonight. If Radek runs into any trouble have him call me; we're in the pickup truck.

Radek says thank you, he's already in New York, flying back to Poland on the 30th. You're very kind, we wish you have a great trip!

Always good to see a fellow Pole doing well! Enjoy the country, there are many different regions and flavor to be experienced. It is kind of sad that more Americans do not take the time to experience our natural wonders.

Hello. Just a little update: we've done 20 000 km, visited 17 states and gorgeous places, met very friendly people who helped us on the way. We had to change a few parts in our motorcycle: tires, chain, sprockets and brake pads. It's quite an expense with our modest budget. What a pleasant surprise we had when Fellow Riders that we had met on the road: Jesse from GeoMoto Adventures, Lonny from klrdash.com and Aaron from Vision Electronics Inc. have banded together and we got text messages such as "Your tire is on the way, Merry Christmas!" and so on with every part! And then Dan from the neighborhood contacted us, and with his son helped us to mount everything! Wonderful Christmas present and spirit!

We loved the Canyonlands National Park area and Moab in Utah the most! And the epic White Rim Road. More photos coming soon.

    -----

AT PRESENT, again - thanks to a great kindness of biker that we met in Death Valley, we are having a break in California, Santa Cruz. We are preparing for our onward travel South, all the way down to Argentina!
In order to do so, we need to earn extra income along the way to cover costs of gas, new motorbike parts and all travel expenses.

We are ready to do so! We have become "digital nomads", offering our web design and development services along the way to people we meet and that keeps us rolling!

So please keep us in mind if you are looking to create or update a website, especially if you want to base it on WordPress, we love this platform. We believe it's a win-win situation, since once we have a break from riding we totally focus on projects, trying to do them as quickly as possible, while always maintaining a high quality. Working together, we combine skills of professional graphic designer (Liwia) and experienced programmer (Joki), along with our interest in new technologies as well as a practical knowledge of good SEO practices that let your website be well indexed in Google.

But seeing is believing, so if you're interested, please drop us a message and we will send you our portfolio right away. In fact, we have been already lucky to meet some great bikers through the Flying Monkey Adventure Rally in Utah and decided to set up a new website for them. Feel free to check it out: http://flyingmonkeyadventurerally.com

Also, we are always there if you need some updates of the website in the future. We do have to be online on a regular basis, even just to keep up with our travel blog: https://lifewelove.com

Thank you for taking the time to read this and we would appreciate it if you would be willing to spread the word!
We would also appreciate your advise where else we could post this info, maybe start a separate thread or there is one already that would be adequate?
Your tips will be very appreciated!

Happy New Year, Everyone! May it be filled with exciting rides!

Finally, we've spread the word about the amazing ADVriders community on our blog! We encourage bikers from other countries to join the initiative of the "tent space sign up". Bikers from this forum helped us so much, thank you once again!
