I’m so sorry to hear about your brother Rudy, it can happen anytime. Today my daughter was turning on the adjacent street where the plane crashed in Santee and could’ve been right where it landed if it hadn’t been for her dog jumping out of her vehicle right before she left her cousins house. She heard the plane coming down, and said it sounded like a missile, and the the explosion! Crazy!
    Be safe

Thanks for the heartfelt support everyone...

I won't be around much in the following months. I'll be going through the probate process to petition the court so I can act as my brother's executor. He didn't have a will on file so I'll be acting on his behalf to wrap up unfinished business...

On the bright side... I had asked for my brother's license plate so I can hang it in the Sign Post Forest... that led to showing my mother the pictures I had taken of Canada and Alaska. She's never taken a trip up north and has expressed interest in maybe taking a road trip with an RV northward to find a scenic overlook to spread my brother's ashes and hang his license plate in the Sign Post Forest.

Keep ridin' with the rubber side down...

    Hello Sir,

Just wondering how you like the Redverz tent.
My first time to post, I hope it doesn't mess up your thread.
    I really enjoy your 'motographs'.
    Thank you,

    Looks kind of cool.
    Your pics are awesome.

    Rudy,

My heartfelt condolences to you and your entire family. Losing a family member, especially one so young, is terribly painful. I know that you will be there to support your parents who must be devastated, but I hope you can also find the time to grieve while you take care of others. As all your friends on this forum are, I'm here to support you in anyway I can. I'm just over the hill from you, so call any time to talk. We can also share a few beers and talk about the unfortunate conundrums of life.

    Your friend always,
    Rick

    Thank you...

I've camped in every climb and place for the past 36 years and I've used all forms of sleeping arrangements and by far the Redverz Solo is the most versatile.

The feature that stands out the most is the garage. I like that I can store the bike in the tent to keep it out of the elements and from prying eyes. The garage doubles as a lounging area and offers shade if there's none available. One or both garage doors can be used as awnings (if you purchase the poles separately) or keep it closed when skeeters are aplenty... there's one screened zippered door on the garage side that still lets you enjoy the outdoors.

The sleeping bay is spacious and affords me the ability to stand while I get dressed inside without having to perform Yoga's "downward dog" in my other tents.

    The drawbacks...

~ It's not a free standing tent, it has to be staked down all the time.
    ~ It's heavy for a tent at 12 lbs.
~ It's bulky to pack on the bike.

Otherwise it's an excellent tent for a mult-week moto adventure...
