It's my last day of work today. June 29 I leave Denver. About 2 months riding in the U.S. then somehow getting my bike and I to Europe. About 6 months there and in NW Africa before ferrying to Egypt, then down the east coast of Africa and back up the west. I'd like to average about 1 month per country so about 4 years there.
But who knows? 'Rona round 4? Stop and buy a bar? Get sick? Get the bike stolen? Die? Adopt a kid? Meet a woman? Learn how to surf? Get a job?
It doesn't really matter (except death). Life begins again in 11 days

Wow Man! Sounds like a hell of a time.

One of the easiest ways to get a bike to Europe from the States is out from Florida to Germany by Stephen Knophs (sp?) regular container shipments.

Looking forward to seeing this ride.

Thanks, I'll be crossing Europe from Sep to March so going to stick to the coast to keep warm or I'd take you up on that.

That's called the southern European coast.

I don't know where your reply went but there's a ferry from Greece (to Turkey) to Egypt. Hopefully it's still running post-rona

A short update. Out of my Apt, back where I grew up seeing family and friends and storing the Duc. I fly back to Denver today and ride out on the T7 tomorrow.

Spending an extra day in Cody, WY. Primarily because The Young Dubliners, a good Irish band, is playing here tonight. Also I needed a day off the bike and needed to do some laundry and bike maintenance.
Also, here's some pictures. Let's see if this works. Try clicking the link:

In Shelby, MT for the night. I got my reservation to ride Going to the Sun Road so will do that tomorrow. Then off to Coeur d'Alene, ID to see cousins and then Seattle.
So far the only problem on the trip is all the forrest fire smoke in MT.

I've made it to Seattle where I'll be for a couple weeks.
I rode Beartooth and Lolo passes, going to the Sun road, and many Scenic Routes. Was in smoke for about a week and diverted once for forrest fire.
I road a little over 3000 miles in 20 days.
    The Adventure will continue.
