I bet you're wrong. Not without a ton of mods anyway. Not trying to start a fire here, but..... :nah

The OP is asking about turning a street bike into a trials bike. A ton of mods are expected.

An average street bike in Indonesia, is probably a way better candidate for conversion.... than it's 500 lbs American counterpart! :photog

Sorry, I missed the part where you had a trials bike, Luke.

I agree with you on the latter point, because how much power is enough? For trials you just have to have some beans down low and a relatively flat power output. If power 'explodes' on top it could be useful, but most of the time you'd just not have top go there. Sometimes it's low total inertia that's a bigger problem.

What ? The brown seat ? I know..
At least it's not an old skateboard with foam glued on. .
76' YZ seat cut down ..also the YZ (21"&18" alloy) wheels & tank..
all from an engineless YZ rescued from the landfill...
    Some 3" longer "mystery" shocks..
    10 tooth front & 55 rear sprocket..

It all started when I went to put fuel in it and the stock (steel)tank fell apart.. W.t.h. !?
Tank was empty when put in storage 2 years before.. Now it's a 200# + - "Hybrid"...
