I just saw that Vertigo France organised a Vertigo Days event. I believe TRS is doing something similar in Spain. These events seems to be very successful and fun!

I think this kind of events are great to promote the sport and attract new riders. I haven't seen nothing like that here in the US (or at least I'm not aware of it).

Maybe it wont be practical for a single brand, but what about an event with most all the brands under the same roof? It will be very easy to set up a small section for demo rides.

Brands can offer bikes with different set-ups like suspension, jetting, etc... If someone is minimum interested, there is a high chance that a bike will follow him / her back home. Just my opinion.

A family oriented environment where everybody will have fun. Specially kids.

Riding exhibitions from Pros like Smage or Hoover?

Anything like that was tried before? Any thoughts?

Trials Training Days at the Trials Training Center in Tennessee, is about as close as you get to it in the USA. It's held in the late winter early spring.

I was thinking more like a 'Demo Days' event.

In the past major importers were present with demo models.

You want something for the kids, then get ready for the youth nationals next year. Also check out everything that TTC offers.

Thanks. I just took a look to the TTC site. I wasn't aware about all the activities they offer.

Vertigo USA hosted a demo and trials school last year in Northern CA with Dougie Lampkin providing instruction. We had a great turn out.

I'm pretty sure he's the same guy that three'd a section right before I cleaned it at the Michigan National in the mid-seventies. He looks a little older now, though. :augie
