nOObs (new riders and/or new to ADV) are encouraged to attend.
Riders with Non-Beater bikes are welcome to join in on the fun too.

What constitutes a beater for this ride: Any bike obtained and made to run for under $750.00.
Safety items: Tires, brakes, lights, and mirrors aren't included in the $750.00 limit. It's all about fun and I'm not terribly picky about the details on the bike - Receipts won't be checked, we'll take your word for it.

There will be things for the non-beater riders to do and if you aren't riding a beater you get to judge the beaters.

Simple costumes are encouraged, something that works with your riding gear and shows a bit of your personality. I'll be wearing my ladybug wings and I'm sure Evel will be wandering around as well.

    Saved for more info:
    • There will be a swap meet for motorcycle related items, riding gear, and camping gear.
    • I have a few volunteers to do workshops on things that might come in useful.
    • If there is interest we can have a tech day on Thursday for anyone needing help getting their beater going or help with something that needs to be done.
Here are some ideas for workshops that will be done as long as we have volunteers for each of them:
    • Chain repair - trail/roadside (with or without a chain tool).
    • Sprockets and chain replacement and how to determine if they need to be changed.
    • Spoke tuning - changing
    • Electrical demons, how to find those suckers (@Luke would be good for this).
    • How to replace old stuck on grips.
    • How to clean a rusty tank.
    • Carb cleaning/repair.
    • Motorcycle camping on the cheap.
    • Packing for the adventure - not necessarily light.

Jungle Man, glad you can make it again. Will your parents be coming too? it was nice having them there last year, they're fun.

Nixels, put it on your thinking about it list and I'm going to put you on the fence (hoping you can make it).

OK, Rocky, but you know that barbed wire is mighty sharp. I hope you can make it.
