Add me to the list... Rolling out on Wednesday before...
Thanks PNW Buttercup and Jungle Man.
@Jungle Man you mentioned you have a couple of friends that are thinking about attending - Any word on them?
I'm still in not sure about Ann'sdogs (wifey person) will be last minute decision on her part. Should roll in mid day on Thursday. Plan on riding down from Goldendale. If anybody else is riding from the Gorge area possible meet in Biggs or Wasco? I'm open to suggestions.
It looks like it's time for me to quit lurking and come on out of the woodwork. I'm one of Jungle Man's friends, and I am planning on attending along with Jungle Man's other friend. We're in the process of getting our beaters ready, and glad to hear that the event is still a go. Hopefully we'll be able to get some build pictures up before too long. It'll be a bit of a learning curve for me since the last time I did much in the way of contributing to internet forum content, it was via digital camera and Photobucket. Time for me to learn some new tricks.
Anyhow, thanks for getting this get-together together, I've been looking forward to it.
Nice to know you are going to be there and your first post being on this thread is even better.
Welcome to the fun.
My wife accepted a family obligation that conflicts with the date so we are out I am sad to say. We will save the Ascots for next year though! Doug and Coya
Jeff and Ryan will be there. Added new beater bike to the lineup 75 XL 175. Might finish this year.
I’m Jungle Man and U•Turn’s other friend. Not only is this my first post on this forum, but it is my first post to any forum ever so please bear with me as I try to post some pics. We are super excited for the BBB! I managed to dig a couple old SL350s out of the local barns. It turns out they were built in the same month (9/71)! Neither had run in at least 10 years and so we’ve had to deal with all the associated maintenance and repair that comes along with neglected farm bikes. I’m almost positive that wasn’t OEM bailing twine holding the air filters on. There is still work to do before the ride but things seem to be on track. This event has even given us an excuse to build a new trailer project that we’ve been dreaming of for a long time. Thanks Ladybug and Jungle Man for putting this together and keeping it alive through the craziness!
Sorry you can't make it this year but family first. I'll look forward to seeing, you, Coya and the Ascots next year. Thanks for letting me know.
Welcome, Farmer Chris. This is a fun place to hang out. You are learning this forum stuff rapidly. Thanks for posting pics of your progress, part of the fun is seeing how the bikes start off and what shows up at the campout.
Wait... There is OEM bailing wire?
Oh, I am so IN!
Awesome Ed, glad to know. I picked up more orange cones after last year so you should have plenty of cones to play with.
Not to be redundant, but IN!
On further review, I just looked at my teaching schedule. I have classes that weekend. I won't be able to make it after all. CRAP! You all have fun. I'll be back in 2021.
I'll be there Saturday,...
Dooya all still think itsa good idea for me to cook mass fajitas for your group on Saturday night?
Or is that a poor idea in these weird times?
Right now redundancy is good so I can update things. I'll call it confirmation.
Darn - This year there is going to be a very short window for campout type things. Sorry you can't make it.
What does everyone think? Do you want AJ to make his famous fajitas or not? Please chime in either way so he has an idea if he should do it or not.
So this had to happen so I can make the trip with the XL.
Top end oil leak finally got bad enough it needed attention.
Our family's latest beater bike efforts;
Mrs. Attila and I Are still in. Absolutely YES on the fajitas. BTW, any word on restaurant availability while we're there, or should we be planning to cook?
