Another Scrambler pic....
Glad you made it safe JdYowa. I know the feeling. I was caught in some viscous storms in the Canadian Prairies...very vulnerable when there is no place to go, literally riding it out and praying.
The Anakee's sound like a good choice though.
Hey JdYowa - I grew up in Orange Park (Fleming Island - before it all blew up down there). Which 9 miles were you on? Also thanks for a rain friendly tire review. I'm looking forward to a new set for the winter, where we are drizzly wet all season. As it is, you probably got more rain yesterday than we have seen since April.
I work on the north-west side off Soutel. Very bad neighborhood, but it's a concrete plant so they usually don't put them in nice neighborhoods. I was coming down Prichard, just north of I-10. I live in Orange Park in the newer Oakleaf area that probably didn't exist when you were here.
Been a good tire. They are a 90/10 but I haven't really tried them off road. Too much Sand in Florida and The Stockies didn't even handle that well.
Where about in the PNW is this?
Last week we did some goofing around on some triumphs, sportsters and an old XL. I made a quick edit of some of the outtakes, and uploaded it to vid.me out of laziness and here is the result: https://vid.me/eu5Z
Hope you all enjoy. Scrambling is made better with some sunshine and at least a couple inexperienced but eager riders.
Bluesforchallah - that was out side of Bellingham.
Much better than some pseudo-soulful GoPro warrior selfie ballad set to EDM. Thanks for keeping it brief and to the point. Looked like fun!!

Just ordered the inverse version of your bike - Cherry Red up top - Silver below.
I've always craved for this bike since 2008 when the Cherry Red and English White was released!
Having some modifications done before pick her up:
- Free Spirit's Rear Brake Caliper re-locator
- Free Spirit's Rear Brake piston actuator protector
- Motogadget's Chronoclassic Speedo
- 80's Classis Headlamp
- Touratech Swivel footpegs
- Zard Special Edition exhaust
Please post up pics of the speedo and head light. I'll be on the hunt for both this winter.
Thanks a ton.
I have a Scorpion 2-1 exhaust for sale. 450 usd include shipping.
Anyone have a good option for a USB power supply on the Scrambler? I need something reliable to charge GPS and phone while riding long distances. Thanks!
Also, is this a good option for a headlight upgrade from stock?
That was hilarious! Glad nobody was killed.....looks like a whole lotta fun was had by all. Thanks for sharing Borderman.
Got out into the woods today. Pretty impressed at how stable the bike felt in really loose gravel.
Then thought about how much fun it would be to do a wall ride...
Excellent! It's a treat to see that back up there again. Nice one!
I have a Scrambler seat for sale in the FM.
