    Hi All,

Thanks for the tips. Two questions:

    1. Will this bolt onto an '06 KTM 950 Adv rack?

    2. Will the medium hold a full face helmet?

    Thanks,

    BT

You can fit 1 helmet... and have some/little space left next to it.

Murkury264 - Hey I am now in the scooter world. I am starting a distribution business for scooters.

    All,
We put weight limits on the trunks because of insurance reasons. We all load them with much more weight then we list for the average consumer. Just be reasonable and you should have no troubles.

Thanks all for the head's up.
Ordered two mediums; one for me and one for a friend. Then went back and bought another one in large. I'll mount one plate on the DRZ and one on the Ninefitty. Then I can switch hit between the medium and large.

    wow, what a smokin' deal!

i'm probably going to be ordering one of these anyway, but i'm still curious: can anyone speak to the weatherproof-ness of these cases?

Not knowing for sure what size I wanted, I ended up ordering both sizes. By the end of the transaction the total came to $92.98 with free shipping. I have 2 bikes these will work on, so I'm sure I will make good use of them.

    Thanks again,

they should be weatherproof if just mounted on the bike. The cover's lip goes over the lower half's lip so there should be no problem. immersing it in water is another story...

I bought a medium. I have a question. Does it come with everything needed to mount it or do I have to get a rear rack to mount it to? I have a 2000 Suzuki Bandit.

It has everything to mount it to a rack - you will most definitely need a rack of some sorts.

Its totally weatherproof. Mine (JCW, size large) has been on my DR250SE for six months or so and I've ridden in some very heavy downpoors and parked in the rain and its totally, completely dry inside.

It has everything you need to mount it to a rack. It obviously doesn't include a rack (that would have to be bike specific).

The mounting plate is on the cardbord on the seat. This is what comes with the case for mounting.

Both top cases came today and for less than a $100. bill, I'm pretty impressed so far. The only thing I'm disappointed in at this point is that one base plate will not accomodate both top cases. I was hoping it would, so I could interchange them whenever I wanted. But, all in all, that's a minor point. Looks to be a real bang for the buck!

Just got my large trunk. Very happy! What a deal! Nice quality, especially at that price. You can't go wrong.
