Really cool, wonder what the range is.
The scoop is that they will be able to swap batteries at fuel stops in the same time it takes cars to refuel. That's the plan, anyhow. So the range is kind of irrelevant, as long as it exceeds the fuel range. Or maybe they will allow more stops? dunno.
I need some guys like that.
Some good riding techniques in here.
Complete tear down every 15 hours. "Pretty much just look over everything . . . you know . . . normal stuff"
Yeah - that's how I do it, too
They said hours, not months. How's that clutch repair coming along?
Parts showed up today!!!!
. . . still not done, though.
More ewe toob gold. Someone needs to invite him to Zombiecamp for a clinic.
Some people can make riding so difficult and unenjoyable.
That poor bike. Living life below 3000 rpm. So much potential.
I made it 3:40 before bailing
Some of his earlier videos had me in stitches, but I don't know, maybe I'm just in a mushy mood, but I was really rooting for him on this one. I used to feel the same way he does after riding through a rut like that (of course I was 10 years old at the time, lol), but I still remember. I left him a nice comment on his video:
"I will admit that I might have inadvertently chuckled at some of your earlier videos, but I really enjoyed this one. I'm a fairly decent rider, but I didn't get that way overnight or without practice. I've had people complain to me after a tough section that "it's so easy for you" . . . well, it wasn't always. I've put in hours and hours and days and days of doing exactly what you're doing. Take the hard line. Ride something a little over your skill level. Go look at that hill a half a dozen times before you attempt it. Mess around and figure it out. People would be amazed (and it seems like you are really starting to "get it") at how much better they could become if they just spent time messing around exactly like you're doing. Keep it up."
Snow days and ewe toob are like peanut butter and jelly.
You are clearly in need of extra responsibilities.
I've been wondering about USA rallies for awhile and finally stumbled across this... The only stage rally series in the US that has motorcycle classes...
*Furiously checking calendar*
I think I have enough time off to do an IBA ride out to one, Race and then do another IBA back. Who's up for a long weekend of craziness?
These really look like awesome events,
I assume you've seen this thread. But if not here it is.
That’s how I stumbled onto the series actually.
Who’s ready for a road trip?
We just did a road trip for a sand rally
