Wonder if my worn out rings are good enough?
This would be perfect for a Buell. (hint hint)
I saw that a few days ago. A little short notice for me!
Pot vs kettle.
Barcia is my new hero.
I wonder if anyone is entering a RE twin into this? RE has been pushing more into the American racing scene lately and this is right up their ally.
Don't you have a RE twin.....?
I didn't realize RE as a company did anything of any substantial quantity in america, let alone advertise or participate in racing here.
They have an American flat track program.
Its something like a "program" I suppose... Looks like mostly advertising aside from getting their 1 off built bike into a few races.
Here's what they have planned for 2020;
Here's that bike that a pro will race;
Here's their announcement of the pro riding it;
I'll admit, it is probably more my wishful thinking than their push. The mothership in India may not want to commit to many resources to what is just a small part of their market.
I think the Build Train Race program mentioned in your first link is a pretty cool idea. I have to give RE some credit for supporting that. Advertising or not, it is going to help those four women further their careers.
The RE twin is a solid platform to build on and I think it would do well in the desert races posted above.
I don't have the time, skill, or resources. It does look like fun.
If anyone is wondering about the potential of the RE twin...
Two of my three bikes are have a RE badge on them, so I am a little bias.
Spent all day filming for a bs race.
Well it sure cleans up nice.
One of the bikes from the Build! Train! Race! program.
Will this be on the next OkieSprint race course? Probably as an option line.
