I had a hell of a guide picking out lines in front of me. Thanks for slowing down and letting me keep up. I had a total blast.

I remember the excitment of deciding to sign up for that class. What a great opportunity to share motorcycling with new riders and help grow the community. Hope you find some excellent instructors.

DSC_0685.JPG I've got a TKC 80 I bought earlier this year in size 90/90-21 with about 20 miles on it I want to sell. It's the tubeless version so can be used with or without a tube. The tubeless version sells for about $85 and the tubed version sells for about $75. How about $60?

Took a ride out towards Jackson Cabin today. It was a great ride but I stopped short of the cabin by about 2 miles as I ran out of ability to keep the bike up. Think I dropped it 4 or 5 times before I decided to turn around. I did find out that my X-challenge will go 129 miles on a tank. Happy I had the rotopax as a backup.

This was the last drop before turning around.

This is where the mountain beat me. I still managed a smile though....maybe it was exhaustion :)

Cameras never do the roads justice. Knowing how my photos always turn out, those rocks must have been absolutely killer. Gorgeous terrain though, man!

Yeah, but me being old-er, fat, and out of shape didn't help much either....lol.

You need to take him on Charouleau Gap...Jackson Cabin is a walk in the park in comparison.

I'll pass until I get two out of three
    a) less old (not gonna happen)
    b) less fat (working on that) and
    c) in better shape (working on that too).....

A man's got to know his limitations.

You got a really capable bike. Just got to learn to let the bike do the work.

Everyone ok? Green street bike down on Valencia by the museum. Front wheel under a car bumper but looks more like a close call based upon the minimal damage visible.

For any local Africa Twin owners.

I am taking delivery of a lightly used (400mi) 2018 model in late June and its coming with the panniers in the below link. I want to sell these panniers and get the OEM ones. If anyone is interested in buying these off of me when they arrive or working a trade for some good condition OEM ones let me know.

The bike is also coming with an upper Givi crash bar that I would like to sell.

Congrats. Don’t have a need for the panniers, but my 790R is due in late June or a July. We’ll have to get a DS ride together here with the twins after it cools down. Or an early am ride

Yeah, it’s awesome weather right now.... but when both bikes get here it will be well into our 100 days of above 100. I usually drink more beer than I ride during that timeframe.

After seeing the gorgeous photos of the way to Johnson Cabin, I figured I would give it a shot. Holy hell, Arizonans. It's like the exterior decorator for AZ just said "you know what's in this millennium? Tons of freaking rocks everywhere." I did finally make it to the cabin, and much to my chagrin, the Johnson's were not home to make me a drink and rub my feet. Fun ride though.
