A few of us old-timers are meeting at Ollie's Station Thursday evening at 6:30, if any of you want to come. I doubt that any of us will be riding though. Just look for the old, fat, gray haired people. Wives, mistresses, and kids are welcome too.

What is it I always say? Am I the last one here who still has a job?

I'll be in SS tomorrow. Unfortunately, I work there.

I did manage to get in a couple hours riding today in the cold fog.

I might swing by for a bite after the gym, but I’m tasked with last-minute shopping tomorrow. No ride for me till Hangover. :baldy

Well, I think I got my Xmas shopping done. How was the ride?
    @Newner, @Dirt2007, @tomski74

(Some of the shopping was for me. Got brake pads and elbow pads.)

It was good. Sand was deep. I took a total of two pics :doh

The first 30 minutes was a clinic on how to unsuccessfully kick a kdx. (Look on the right side of first pic) Then there was a 10 minute lesson on dragging a klx.

Crazy because I don’t ever really remember having trouble kick starting my KDX. Maybe when it was really cold, so I bet that was the issue. :dunno

I did, however, always tip the bike over until fuel came out of the carb overflow before kicking. You try that, Tom?

A few of us are meeting at Smitty's Garage in BA tomorrow at 6:30. Should be warm enough to ride.

A follow up on a potential ride that we discussed at TTPC...

Anybody interested in a ride on Sunday? My first instinct was a light DS ride over to zombie camp to do a few laps around the Kendrick Mile. Routes there and back would maximize gravel and be big bike friendly. Maybe incorporate a breakfast or lunch stop.

    Takers?

I’m also open to alternative ride plans if there are better ones.

I'm a definite maybe. Should have got the little bike fixed sooner. Out on the Tenere around the Kendrick mile - 90% in for the rest of it.

Maybe I'll see if Rockymountain can get me some clutch plates overnight . . . .

Clutch plates ordered . . . now we wait and see if they get here on time. Either way, 99% in on the big bike if all else fails.

Completely unrelated note . . . anyone interested in going to the boat show tomorrow? I'm planning on dragging Kris to it in the afternoon.

Well, I have a rough outline for routes there and back. It works out ok to depart from Prattville and end in Beggs. That makes the breakfast choice easy. :dunno
