How many choices do you need...
What is start time? I’m guessing the place will be a well known cafe in Prattville.
Let’s just say it’s not a biscuits & gravy type establishment.
I'd love to, but I don't think the knee is up for a long ride. Being folded up for 15 or 20 minutes is enough to make it cranky at this point. Sucks to miss out on the weather this weekend.
Just gotta ride like Ronnie Mac
In overalls? I don't see how that would help.
Legs straight out back, duh.
Not keeping my feet on the pegs got me into this mess.
Let’s say Crescent Cafe in Prattville at 8:30.
Well even after spending an extra $20 for overnight delivery my clutch isn't going to make it until Monday. Free shipping would have got it here in Monday as well. $20 wasted.
I'll be there at 8:30 on the big bike.
I heard Tim is buying biscuits n gravy... 8:30am...In.
I'll join y'all for breakfast, at least.
Had a good ride today. Lots of gravel roads between Sapulpa and Stroud. Break time at Stroud lake before heading over to the Kendrick mile.
Just got home. Good times. Had to cut it short because we found the limits to my fuel range.
thanks for the fuel, Rick.
here’s the only pic I took today. Sunrise at my place before heading out.
What a great day!
It wouldn't be a proper ride unless we had to fix a KTM before we even left the first parking lot.
On our way ... which way? That way!
Also thanks for the patience on the dead ends and reroutes today. It was borderlining on a Newner ride. I plotted the routes on my PC using gaiagps.com and didn’t check them against satellite images to see gates and abandoned tracks. Spent my time instead troubleshooting how to actually see the routes on my phone. Luckily, I’m friends with the technical support guy and he was super responsive and fixed it for me last night. Lesson learned.
Lost again? Better check the gps.
Then we stopped by Stroud Lake. Cool spot. I might have to bring the rv there this summer.
We made it to Zombie camp!
From there, we made our way to one of Oklahoma's obelisks.
Before we left, I mentioned we might want to run by a gas station before we got too far and top off ... well ... we didn't make it
Getting fuel transferred into Dirtydog's bike turned out to be a little tricky.
First, we tried to flip Dirt's bike upside down and simply pour it out ... well, they did while I took pictures
That didn't work, so on to plan B.
Pull Dirt's tank off and dump it that way.
My bike ... just because it's beautiful.
We got enough fuel in DirtyDog's bike to make it to the gas station and put Dirt's bike back together.
We made it to the gas station with no more issues and by then it was time to split up and head on home. Thanks for the great day of riding!
Grabbed a few stills from my helmet cam.
Rick and I crossed the creek just to say we did.
Hit up some extra crap in my neighborhood before going home.
I remember when I used to do that kind of stuff....
At least I rode to work today.
Oh, and yesterday I went to Mr Bass on the DR to get some beer, so look at me! Riding two days in a row!
