Hell I just got some mail the other day that was sent in March, I shit you not. the post office is less than a mile up the road.
All t shirts are spoken for. Thanks to all.
Exactly. Just picture if I showed the whole thing. But I didn't want to expose anyone to radiation.
Interesting read. I guess all you need is a shovel.
I would like to tell you all a TT9 story I think in indicative of the Trot.
On Saturday afternoon I was talking with another long time ADVer when a young man came up and told me had an awesome time and thanked me for the effort. He asked how much the T Shirts were and his face dropped when I said $20. "I would love one, but Im in the Navy and a little tight on cash right now." He said thanks again and started to leave.
The ADVer pulled out his wallet and gave me twenty, "For the young man's shirt".
That's the true spirit of the Trot.
On that good note, lets close it down and head back to PAR land.
And once again, thanks to everyone for a great TT9.
But what about Metric Mike?
A few pics...
Plenty of chuckleheadery and shenanigans!
Thinking about going to the 2018 Polar Bear Adventure Rally in Gold Head state park. Has anyone ever been there and want to share their experiences with me? How does it compare to the Turkey Trot?
It is much the same, very well organized, good people, rides at all levels and plenty of fun. You will enjoy.
Not to take ANYTHING from the guys who put on the Trot as I have traveled to it the past three years from Jacksonville, its much the same but more people and more groups of riders. If you liked the trot you won’t be disappointed.
I'll add one regarding tent camping:
Spending a fortune to live like a homeless person.
Last years Turkey Trot was a blast! Count me in for this one!
