    200 miles of riding.. I ate way too much! Drank enough to be tired. Met a lot of cool folk! Drank some Faux Kraken that tasted like Capt'n Morgan..
    Who ever made the hallucinogen brownies failed on making me high but they were damn delicious!

    Here's the story: Vic... i want a easy ride today after riding 80 miles friday..
    -- Ok., See that fella with the cowboy hat.. thats Robby he's 79 years .. hey..he doesnt ride fast..
    Ok.. i ll ask him to see if i can ride along
    Hey Robbie.. can i ride with you guys..Vic said you'd be the right guy
    ++ You're at rather "plump" fella...
    ++ Sure, you can ride with us.
    .... 1st fire road we take some bow hunter steps out bitching at Robbie and us being there.. we double back
    ... I'm rev-ing bike a 9k trying to keep up with that Old Fucker... Damn he can Ride! (*Thank for the vote of confidence Vic! "he's an Old man.. he'll ride slow!"}
    .. we stop along some brush.. im expecting to hear.."Oh well guys we re going to hit some tarmac to head home after running 40 miles".. but no.. Robbie hands me the gas can says.." You'll need this..Top it off!"
    Riding an other 60 miles of uncharted territories through thick and thin.. Dusty as hell.. i pick the wrong line and sink my front tire in a massive hole..
    We made it back to camp.. the guys that ran the DS1 challenging course had already arrived after getting lost and they saw us arrive much later, i had a huge grin ... it was really "epic"

    My 1st Turkey Trott was a ton of fun! Camp Fire stories were great. No loin cloths were need or left behind. and Saturday was brutally cold!

    Wowee what a blast! Many thanks to everybody who brought/cooked food, every year the bar gets set a little higher! The weather was great, sure it was a wee bit chilly at night but the daytime temps were perfect. Thanks to Tomcat for putting those swag bags together, I really dig this year's T-shirt design. "Moar riding less drinking" was my goal this time around, and I actually managed to put over 100 mi. on my clankety old DRZ. And still had plenty of time to get acquainted with Tullamore Dew (courtesy of Buzztail), which is surely the finest whiskey to ever come out of Ireland.

    A big thanks to Vic for organizing this event, if you'd have told me back in '09 that in 7 yrs we'd be looking at close to 100 riders participating in this shindig, I wouldn't have believed it. Word definitely gets out! Sat. eve, some fellas from S. FL were telling me that I was incredibly lucky to live so close to all this great riding, and I agreed. Most people don't think of the FL Panhandle as a rider's paradise, but that's because they don't leave the pavement--between Blackwater, Eglin, and ANF, we've got thousands of miles worth of exploring!:ricky

    Already looking forward to next year, yea verily:nod

    Great time at the Trot. Great pics coming in already. I just got my pc back up and running after some major upgrades and a new SSD. They just keep getting full. :D Will unload the pics Karen got and see how she did. I will be back to add to the fun. Met lots of new friendly people and got to talk to some of the regulars. It was a good time.

    Thanks to Vic for another memorable TT. Looking around, it looks like maybe TT XV will need a mobility scooter track.
