Thanks to everyone for making it happen whether you helped out or just showed up and hung out. Great time with old and new friends around the fire. Looking forward to next time!

I was thinking as I read this, I could have a field day with this. But, I will let it slide in the interest of what a great time it was. Party on kids.

p.s. You forgot the bacon and eggs we brought. :D

p.s.s. The word "too" should only have one "o" when used in the above. :deal Except for that last line, where you got it correct. "Way too many people to mention, so thanks too everyone." Well at least the first use of it. :baldy

p.s.s.s. And "salid"? I hope I will be able to sleep tonight. My mind is racing!

That's Billy, Eloy's pa-in-law. He's 71 (older than my dad), and he can outride me without breaking a sweat. Sure, he's on a 690 and I'm on a DRZ, but still. Not sure I coulda kept up with him 20 yrs ago.:gerg

Just wanted to thank everyone for a great introduction to my first Turkey Trot. I logged 1300 miles and 24 hours round trip travel time to go play for 3 days. It was worth every mile and minute! You have a great group of people, awesome trails and camp fire conversation. Looking forward to a return trip the Blackwater area to do some more exploring.

    Turkey Trot Example

I would like to use Coach417 and Flacrusher as and example of what the Trot is really about. We PAR guys have gatherings all the time and rides almost every weekend.
We all know we are blessed with a great riding area. The Turkey Trot is meant to be an event that shares our great riding with those less fortunate. Like these two guys from mid Florida who drove all the way to experience something new. I think they had a great time. They rode with several groups and then rode by themselves. The way it should be.

We had a lot of out of towners and a lot of new faces from the local area. I suspect we will be hearing more from out new friends and PAR will continue to grow.:clap

Found a couple of pics around the campfire.

Special thanks to T House for providing the fire pit. I know it's a pain in the ass to haul that heavy thing out there and back.
