They're not super enthusiastic when you ride them legally on the road.
How well we remember. Good times, featuring Eddie hospitality and vetted Eddie approved BBQ. Anyone who didn't come on these missed out on some good times.
"Mow over there, there's more cowshit"
Just to go to a little airport BBQ restaurant.
That was September 2013. Good times.
Good times. The airport restaurant was one of the best.
Brought 2 jars of their sauce back home. Fantastic beans!
Yes they were all a great time.
@Metallic Waste passed away this morning at his girlfriend's home. Many of us joked about him and his MN1000 stories and will miss him. He was a regular at Team Strange events, Mn BMW events (including the booth at the motorcycle show, Moon Motors open house, amongst others.) He also attended many, many of the Twin Cities meat and greets. He always had a segue to a MN1000 bonus.
I am really sad about this.
Well holy shit - just saw that on the TeamStrange facebook.
Shocking. He was a good guy with never a bad word for anyone. Except for when yelling at people to pipe down at BMW rallies. We'll enjoy re telling that for a long time.
Skinny dude with a smile on his face at all the M&G's??? Always in a good mood.
He was a great guy and a friend. One of the really good people I've met through motorcycling and life in general.
More than likely, yes.
Way back when at the Great Lakes Challenge Kevin went out of his way to welcome me and introduce me around. And we’d never met before that banquet. In a crowd that could be a little intimidating he was an open, friendly presence that made it easy to feel a part of the group. Top, top guy.
So sorry to learn about Kevin. Didn’t get a chance to ride with him much but he did help me get one of my favorite photos when we rode in Red Wing together.
Just gutted by this. I'd seen him a few weeks back and we exchanged our usual barbs and banter. Krevin has been a fixture here locally and a great help to many.
Whoa! I'm sorry to hear this.
I had great admiration and respect for the man who ran with scissors.
Yes! That’s how he was. Devil may care, and in for a penny, in for a pound for sure. I went looking for a pic of him that I remember from 2009, on his beloved yellow Ninja 250, as he was on his way to a Mn1K, giving the ADV salute to whoever was passing him and taking the pic. That was Kevin. Alas the pic link is broken so I can’t share it wih you.
Going to miss that guy, he was so easy to talk to, helpful, and kind. I think he squeezed and pulled as much fun out of life as one can. Hope to learn from his example. Will wear my hair extra spiky and messy today in honor.
Sorry to hear this. I met him at a couple of M&Gs and enjoyed talking to him. I also remember him saying he was having some bad-sounding health problems a couple of years ago.
Please keep us posted on details of a celebration for Kevin. Maybe we all need a meet and greet in his honor.
What!!! Man. Terrible news.
