If anyone needs me I'll be burning tires in my backyard. The global warming thing is never going to gain traction if we don't all do our part.

Brisk. The glasses were fogging up, otherwise not too awful below 40mph.

Nice dirt bike! Time for service. :D

I saw a Gixxer out riding on my way to work today. Saw 46 degrees on the Jeep.

On my walk around noon there were chunks of ice falling from the sky!

Extra fat dirt pickle. Service is up to date, I just do everything myself and don't have the computer to reset the service reminder. I don't even notice it anymore.

Until the salt hits the roads, there's still riding to be had. Probably need snowmobile gear for highway riding though.

Cycle Gear is having a grand opening Oct 23-25 of their new store in Southdale mall in Edina. It'll be nice to have a store on this side of the metro area.

Another coming to Maple Grove. I have a Street & Steel jacket I purchased at their Madison location. Impressed and very warm. IMG_4053.jpg

I wouldn't get too excited about the Cycle Gear store. We had one where I lived in Albuquerque. In the early 2000s they had some good deals on a large variety of good stuff.

But then they went all-in on Bilt brand stuff. The quality of this gear was horrible when it first came out. But it seemed to be getting better over the years.
I have a Bilt brand mesh jacket that has lasted a couple of seasons with no problems.

Well, I got a flyer in the mail for 10% off your in store purchase for the Edina Cycle Gear store. If they have Motocentric gear I'd be interested.

Anyone want it? Only good for the 23-25th. 3 days.

New owners now so I’m hopeful. The store looks good and lots of inventory.

I believe they will price match tires and in Texas the mounting and balancing was $25.00

Our friend @Get_Bent is riding North along the Mississippi River heading for Galina, IL for the night. Looks like rain/snow mix for the rest of the day. Tomorrow cold but dry.
