    Twin Valley Rally

Twin Valley Riders is please to announce the 2nd Annual Twin Valley Rally the third weekend in September (16, 17, 18) at the wonderful Willville Motorcycle Camp in Meadows of Dan, Virginia.

In addition to the area's outstanding terrain, the rally features all the things riders love best––BBQ dinners both nights, music, happy hours, coffee, breakfasts, door prizes, riding instruction, massages, and more. We'll have organized gap attack and dual sport rides as well as routing assistance for those preferring a more spontaneous adventure.

The Twin Valley Rally is hosted in the heart of the Central Appalachians and some of the best riding in the country. This is probably the best area in the Appalachians that isn't notoriously crowded, aggressively patrolled, and named for a fire-breathing serpent. We know a few roads and it will be our pleasure to show you more sweet curves than a reptile has scales.

Visit Twin Valley Riders for more info and online registration.

Be careful with those kegs... I heard that you forfeit your deposit if you bring'em back shinier than they were when they went out.

And when you register, don't forget to order a few tee-shirts, too.

They make great Christmas gifts, and there won't be extras this year.

On your Virginia map, put your left index finger on 58 and your right index finger on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Follow those roads until your fingers bump into each other. (It is east of Galax)

    Willville is awesome.

The Twin Valley Riders website is still taking registrations. I went to the TVR Rally last year and really enjoyed it. They're a good bunch of folks. Great riding too.:thumbup:thumbup

Yes– plenty of places open right now. A group of us rode down to Meadows of Dan this weekend to see the Urals and the campground looks great– as usual. Jonathan smoked a sample batch of pork on the smoker last week and it turned out great. Several of us attended the VFW breakfast a week ago and it was fantastic as well. We are far ahead of last year and everything is on track. Looks like we have folks registering from all around the mid-Atlantic and as far away as LA and MA. Suggest you go ahead and grab your spot and plan on a great time.:freaky
