I've got the trailer loaded up and headed their way.
Thanks for everyones support You all are not only supporting us, but our causes as well. Here's a little article the AJC posted for us.
You guys are doing a great thing for the 2 organizations. Good luck and if you need anything I expect a call.
Made it to the Mechanics.

sorry for the heart attack Elton. that was very stupid of me riding
that fast. i was acting 1/2 my age, as my wife tells me. hope
you guys get the Katoom going soon. these fellow ADVR's are
amazing with the help & all of their knowledge. as mentioned,
thanks to everyone.
And here I was ready to trade the Uly in on a 950...
Just a friendly poke in the ribs from the guy who is envious of y'alls trip . As much as I love you Frank, I'm going to have to side with Elton on the potters clay. I remember using that stuff in Elementary School art class. :huh
Still diagnosising it.
Well... They pulled the plugs and they looked fine so they started it up and everything ran fine. Everyone just loves intermitent problems. Checking to see if the Tank is venting now.
Bill from ALL SPORTS here... Catfish sent me a PM yesterday and I called Frank yesterday afternoon... Gave him my number if he needed anything...
When I talked to frank on the phone... He told me the bike fell over in a creek crossing... The symptom of the engine dying when he tried to accelerate. after the creek event, sounded like a drop of water in the bottom of the float bowl. Perhaps some water entered through a vent hose when the bike was on its side. I suggested draining the bowls... As water will act like a cork to the main jets... Then when you close the throttle the drop of water is released when the vacuum drops... the water goes back to the bottom of the bowl.... until you whack the throttle again...Kind of like a tennis ball on a vacuum cleaner. No guarantee thats what it is.. but draining the bowls should be done periodically anyway. I have seen that symptom hundreds of times at my shop on off road vehicles.
Good to see you guys have him picked up and getting help.
Hey, that bike looks like it is coming apart, not going back together.
Oh, BTW please call me Tinks...if they hear someone called me Pinks in JoMomma I'll never live it down.
They're putting the bike back together now, it's still running fine.
Sweet. Hopefully, it was just the simple fix--getting the water out.
Hope so, they are going to spend the night at Casa de Scoon tonight.
I told them that is was Tinks
Thanks for your help.
But First Sam the Mech gets to go for a ride
First time on a KTM
I think he liked it.
All the pics I posted were taken with SVaders pimpin iphone.
If'n it's all good; why's it on a trailer
Enjoy the rest of the trip
If I understand correctly that's the other one.
They're test driving the problem bike over to cycle gear then heading to da house.
Frank, don't know about Elton's since he was up front stirring up the dust, but you may want to check your air filter. Here's mine after riding through that stuff with you the last few days.
