Was a truck for sale in anchorage I wanted to look at, so Saturday morning I jumped on the GS and headed down the Parks to Anchorage. Was a nice sunny day for a ride. Truck wasn’t what I thought it was. But that’s ok. Before leaving I decided I was going on two roads I’ve never been on Hatcher pass and the Glen highway. So yesterday after looking at the truck I went and rode Hatcher pass loop, and spent the night in Wasilla. Sunday morning I woke up to rain, so geared up and headed out over the Glen and back up the Richardson, stop and visited some friends at their property and the on to Fairbanks. Rained off and on all day with some down pours and by summit lake it was 43 degrees, but was dry all day which was great. It was a great ride 950 miles in all.
