    Thanks very much! I'm honored to think these rides are still inspiring. I have since traveled these passes with smaller bikes and been to other more remote areas of Colorado. Everything lives up to the hype and more, I really enjoy the whole area. From one flatlander to another... get out there and ride!

    The last few trips that Chris and I have taken involve non-plated bikes and extreme difficulty trails but maybe we should post some reports and pictures. Chris' KTM 500 is street legal but that is kind of cheating since it really is a pure dirt bike, I am using a KTM 300 XCW (two stroke) these days.

    Ditto to what jimhaleyscomet said. I'm heading out there in July '18 and this will be a huge help. Bringing the missus with me so I'd like to keep the risk factor a bit lower; and its great to be able to scout some of these routes out beforehand.
