    Hey congratulations Mully! Fantastic! :thumb

If the puppy needs a name, I think an appropriate one would be "Chip". :evil

"Chip", huh? That'd be catchy if he were a Chocolate Lab.........

He's named "Ranger", but is fast getting the nickname "Patio Pooper". :rofl

Thanx for the kind words, all!

Well......yeah. I seem to be spending more time these days riding back roads and trails and less time doing Big Miles from breakfast to beer-thirty, so maybe this will fit in. Tune in later for a full analysis. :D

The XR's awaiting the remaining replacement parts to bring it back to complete after the "yard sale". No hurry, since the heat's up down here and I probly won't be back out on it til fall.

Yeah, I owe you a call.....

Nice bike, man, but I've gotta ask...

Do you guys really spring shit like this on your wives? Do you wives out there spring shit like this on your husbands? I can't imagine how pissed I would be if vulcanwife came home with a new car we hadn't discussed, and I'm sure she holds me to the same standard.

Never heard of "it's easier to get forgivenness than permission" ?

it's true... I've tried both ways. The 'permission' route for the bike. It took a long damn time and lots of talking. Next time I'd probably do it the other way...

Prolly a topic for Jo Momma moreso than here, but since you asked....

First off, I was simply attempting to be funny with the way I presented my acquisition of the bike......in no way was it a surprise to MsMullins any more than the puppy was a surprise to me. In literature, they call this device "hyperbole" - overstatement for the purpose of making a point. Second, the rule in our house is that if a decision effects us both and there's time to talk, it's expected that there should be dialogue and you violate that rule at your peril......expected behavior in any partnership. :nod

Now back to your regular programming......

I fully expect you, as a friend, to tell me you hate it.* :nod
So far none of my other ex-GS buddies will tell me that, so it's up to you. :hide
