Dont know if anyone is into Overlanding but Overland expo east is near my friends trials area. So if you’re in the area pm me and we can get a ride in . Its mid October. I will ride one day a see the show the other if all goes well
This is a big month for trials 'round these parts...
I just got back from helping set up this one and I think it'll be a lot of fun. Plenty of turns and hills. One section with some man-made obstacles, one with some logs, another with some great turns and some logs. Don't expect much if you ride above 'advanced' (we run nov, ama, int, [sportsman], adv, expert, pro), but expect to have a blast with some of the best people on two wheels. Bill Haskell and Chuck Moline are the trials masters. Bill and I made sure the modern bikes will have plenty to contend with.
This will be a good one for any people wondering what trials is all about since it's so close to Denver.
And then: HAT SIX is the same weekend. This is the reason why I won't be making the above meet. If you can make it up, DO! Everyone tells me Hat Six is awesome, but I'mma find out for myself this year.

Final 2 Events of the NETA season - October 12th and 13th at CATRA land in Providence, NY. Signup at 9 AM, riders meeting at 10:45, riding from 11AM-3PM with half an hour of penalty time after that. Primitive camping space available onsite for Friday and Saturday nights.
Directions/link to the map on the NETA site at http://www.newenglandtrials.com/Directions.html - the directions say Northville, but we're actually on the south side of the Great Sacandaga Lake. Google Maps link is accurate.
Maybe Dave will post some. I ended up not making it, because the swapped the AHRMA NE XC race from Saturday to Sunday....
You could make up for it by coming up to CATRA on Saturday and Sunday!
Weather is looking pretty darn spiffy for this weekend!
Next NMTA event at San Ysidro, NM Nov. 3rd

Sunday 3 November
What a cool event! Great way to get dirt bikers up close to trials. I'm putting this idea in my back pocket.
We used to have an event kind of like this in CO, still had classes. We had to stop because it changed our insurance to a "race" if I remember correctly. Maybe not an issue with AMA insurance?
Hmmm, good point. Did you know about the event at Milliken MX Track back in September? There was a trial and a vintage MX event the same day (I rode Hat Six with Wyoming instead). I think we might be able to do something like that there. I'll have to print the flier and plant the seed in Bill's head. It wouldn't be nearly as cool as the event in Huzband's flier... A 10 mile loop sounds awesome for this and I don't see many land owners buying into a race because of the much higher impact.
Maybe something in conjunction with RMEC or CORCS.
RAM Off-road Park would be better, but it would be harder to convince the owners.
