I'm out, sorry. One of my employees is sick so I have to stay here to cover service calls. Have a good ride.

Thanks for the info on waterfalls and hikes folks!
We're going to view a number of those falls and hike Sugarloaf Mt, Thomas Rock, and Silver Mt.

We're hoping to do a short afternoon ride from Rapid River Monday June 17th before we head out on the West Loop Tuesday.
If any of you folks would like to do some miles or days on the trail let us know!

Hello everyone! I am from Houghton but am living in Marquette for the summer. I am relatively new to the sport, and I ride a drz400. I have hiked and explored a lot of Ontanogon county, and part of the reason I wanted to get into dual sport riding was to be able to really get into the woods! If anyone wants to do day or weekend rides let me know. At some point, I would like to do the western part of the UPAT.

Hey Yoopers....Is it as soggy up there as in is down here ??? I'm going up in 3 weeks and might be a little concerned about the trails. Hopefully the weather is clear but what's the average temperature difference? I'm loving these 60s and 70s but starting to wonder if that means 40s for my camping!!

Rain has finally slowed down, and trails should be good, but you definitely will be seeing low 40's at night when camping.

My brother Peter and I rode the Penokee (my side of the border) and Goegebic (your side of the border) Ranges this week. We experienced the usual, … a few 'Road Closed' and 'Bridge Out' warnings, the gravel at the this end of the UP and NW Wisconsin is rather larger than we prefer (aren't we fussy?) The views from Little Girl Point on Lake Superior just north of Ironwood were fantastic! One can see the Porcupine Mts. to the east and the Apostle Islands to the west. The woods are endless. It is hard to believe that 120 years ago they were all cut over.

Are you parking in Gwinn or do you live in that area?
I might be changing my starting point as to have a motel the first night.

20190706_141931.jpg Okay I have neglected my Buell XB12X Ulysses the last couple of summers do to having and riding my other bikes. Got it out of my storage garage a few weeks ago, cleaned it up, removed the Conti Trail Attack tires and installed some new Shinko 705's 80/20 tires. Also installed some new led's up front and few other things. I've been riding it regularly for the last couple of weeks and I must say this bike still makes me SMILE and is absolutely fun to ride !! :-) View attachment 1771470 20190706_141605.jpg View attachment 1771470 20190706_141944.jpg 20190706_141848.jpg 20190706_141821.jpg
