Was able to sneak out today for a ride in Marquette Township. Still a bit of snow in shady spots... But it was around 50 today and I'm sure it won't be too long before it's all gone. Had a short but fun ride! 20210403_171422.jpg 20210403_191304.jpg Resized952021040395163056.jpg 20210403_191411.jpg 20210403_191151.jpg Resized_20210403_173957.jpeg

That’s too bad. Had I known that you could’ve had moldy bologna on stale bread with flat pop, served on the patio. :dukegirl

Sounds like I’ll be buying my own lunch in Manistique on Friday then. :(

And I sure wish the excavating contractors up there would learn how to return phone calls. I had no idea getting a quote to have a driveway installed would be so difficult. :pep

That Norway project could be up to 30 miles of single track (with some road connectors included). It still needs some approvals but they are out flagging the trails. Lots of rock features that will make it gnarly.

It looks like the connector between Bass Lake and Porterfield could be opened yet this year as well.

Getting a bit of riding in. A lot of the national forest roads are gated until May 1st. That, or we hit the snow line.

I used to live north of Durango in an offgrid cabin next to what was then Purgatory Mountain. This was in the late 70's and another lifetime ago. These pics bring back memories. Silverton, Telluride, etc. a young single guy couldn't have had more fun. Thanks for sharing.
