Definitely going to be fun.I guess on state trails you are not supposed to have logs crossing the trails but there are some crazy ups and downs and rocky cliffy area,s that should be cool.Have you ever road the mountain or wee wee,s up in the sands?.That is some hard core stuff up there.

Got out Sunday afternoon for a bit of fun in the dirt!

I initially left home on the KTM, but my clutch had other plans. It waited until we were 40 miles from home and deep in the woods to dump all of the hydraulic clutch fluid.

I had been having issues, and recently rebuilt the slave cylinder... but it's leaking again.

I managed to ride all of the way home without coming to a complete stop at any of the stop signs, with some creative help from my riding partners.

Threw the KTM in the corner of the garage, and jumped on the reliable Honda, and off we went again!

It was a FANTASTIC evening for a ride last night!

We did a 160+ mile loop. A mix of paved country roads and some nice dirt mixed in...it was hot and dusty!

I don’t even have an address. Probably should go to the courthouse in Manistique and remedy that.

    Hi All,
I am looking for some feedback on the Porterfield Lake/Bass Lake trails. Rode them a few years ago and they were full of blown over trees, etc. anyway, a friend and I will be riding the MQT area the second week of August, anyone is welcome to join us if you can. Originally from the MQT area. PM with any secret trails!

Part of section 7 is closed at the moment but otherwise in decent shape. There was only 1 blow down that I could not get over last week. The clear cut area,s are pretty grown up and cannot ride fast because hard to see corners. The mostly woods sections were a blast.I don't ride bass lake because to open and boring.Sands is awesome if you are into more extreme riding.Moss lake is very technical and if you don't have bark busters you could have finger busters.

Made it to the southern end of the Continental Divide Trail, and started the long trek north.

We left the UP on Thursday afternoon, and headed west to the Black Hills, and then rode pavement south through the Rockies to Albuquerque.

Thanks to @Jhawkins for hosting us for two nights while we rested and did bike prep for the trail north. :thumb
