Rabbit Patch Rd was a sand-pit for sure! Some fine sand all over, plus a couple good water holes afterwards IIRC, though there were go-arounds.

I remember 15 years ago my new GPS said to take rabbit patch road. I drove up and down the road two full times looking for the east end "intersection". Turns out only loggers had used it as a 2 track with sand pits and the weeds had overgrown the road till trees were ready for harvest. Was there again in '12 and went thru from the west, with a 4wd truck, quad, and dirtbikes. Thanks for the memories!

Edit to add: I'm sure RZRs have completely blown out this trail to a 2 lane sand road by now, sad what they've done around the state. I don't mind them being used, but we have to remember how much they change a trail.

There was a big fire there 10 years or so, not from logging.
