My only companions so far are my Leica M6, Mamiya 7ii, and a Fuji X-Pro2. I finally took off a couple of days ago, from San Diego to Barstow, and then to Lone Pine.
I’m hoping to be able to post some pics regularly..

Alright, Lone Pine, Alabama Hills, and Horseshoe Meadows today. Awesome trails, beautiful view, and I only crashed once to break one of the mirrors. Would‘ve hit the trails earlier but drained the battery while having a aweful coffee at the gas station. Luckily Dave from Dave‘s Autoparts across the street helped me out with a charger.

    Thanks to @signit98 , @DeathValleyTiger , @ericm , @black 8 , and @rickj for the tips.

And I promise this is the last selfie on this trip.

Glad to be of help... you would have been on an even better bike, if it wasn't for someone taking it, without asking...

Have fun, I am here when you get back!

    Only one crash??? You wuss....

Yosemite NP yesterday. Well what can I say. One of the better rides. No line at the gate, not too many RVs, perfect weather (partly cloudy over the peaks for the pictures, but sunny most of the time on the road). Didn’t get the chance to see Bodie though, they anounced a bit off snow in the park for today, didnt wanna risk that.

Your camera equipment is worth much more than your bike! I'll be enjoying this report. It's not often we get B & W images shot with real cameras, especially medium format.

After two days in Coloma I’m spending a few days near Nevada City. Im on a remote farm with no coverage, its effing beautiful! Tons of trails to explore with a bunch of crazy locals.

If anyone has a spare one laying around (used or new), please let me know. Im in the Grass Valley area and willing to pick it up ASAP. Ordering online takes forever. Im stuck and need to get going before it gets too cold and the rain starts. Thanks guys!

Ok, I’m back on the road after spending a few weeks hitting the trails in northern California. I left Nevada City a few days ago for Sacramento. The smog was so thick I could barley breathe. Next stop was Monterey. The ride down Hwy 1 through Big Sur to Ventura was as fascinating as you’d expect. Sunshine pretty much all the time and not too many slow RVs.

Yeah I’m still on the road. Not very good with this ride report thing haha. There’s gonna be a bunch of pics at once now, since I got some decent wifi here. First time in a month. And since I shoot mostly on film, it always takes forever to get the rolls precessed and scanned. Im in Mazatlan now, after riding in Baja from San Diego to La Paz. Took the overnight ferry yesterday, that was pretty cool. Im getting ahead of myself, heres some photos from while I was still in California.

Ocean Beach in San Diego. Pretty cool little surf town. No glamour and a little dirty, exactly how I dig it.

Paddle. It was a pretty gnarly day and this guy was killing it. His wife and kids watching as he surfed from one side of the pier to the other.

Here’s the first few shots of Mexico. They’re all digital, hadn’t had the chance to get my films processed. They were taken around Cuatro Casas, Baja California Norte. There’s a hostel there, the owner Ricardo has been running it for 38 years. This place is a gem, has its own skatebowl, a fire pit with ocean view, campground, outdoor BBQ, a kitchen, private rooms and dorms. A bunch of fun trails right in front of the hostel, and really good surf when the conditions are right.
I spent Christmas there with an amazing bunch of people. Tom, Ricardos friend whos building his own house next to the hostel (are they gonna call it cinco casas?) even picked me up when my bike wouldnt start once again.. 28260E8B-8C52-47BE-BAA6-BE2A10265D3A.jpeg 9CA40BA0-4253-4A57-A604-EE6E8E52B4FB.jpeg 70B3A53F-CDE3-4A8F-8C6C-CAF22F2F2B97.jpeg 5E3A6896-FC11-4A29-BF55-27E818D73C8F.jpeg
