It probably is.
I can check on it in a couple of days. Location is about 10 miles from home.
We got lots nutz.
6 hour ride for me
I wouldn't worry much, he looks pretty much "camouflaged" stuck there to that pipe... even tho he's wearing a "RedCoat".... how appropriate is that....
I actually stood right there, as I visited the site when I grabbed Nutsy back at the games beginning from the Strassburg Locomotive Museum, it was right on my route back from grabbing it... almost the exact same day 8 years ago... 6/26/10
how ironic can that be...
cool spot using the magnet helps him hide so much better,
An audiobook I listened to refered to the red coats as lobster back.
On the handlebar. He will ride around for a few days. Should be able to drop him some where before the weekend is over.
You rode from FL to York, PA on a KLX250??? Good going! That's the hard way to do it.
Not yet. First trip with this bike. Bought it last month in Atlanta, hauled it to Manasses, VA, got my FL plates, rode to Damascus, VA last Friday, but 4 of us (5 with Nutsy) are in Carlisle, PA tonight.
No tag yet. Nutsy and crew are enjoying the sights here in PA.
Tag will be placed in a couple of days
Nutsy and crew enjoyed discovering Mid-Atlantic backcountry routes. Now I need to head home to FL and Nutsy can continue his USA TOuR. Thanks for letting me play.
Nice drop, which Welcome sign is that one or which road were you on?
How many Welcome to New York signs are there? I'm guessing due to your recent travels that it's on the southern border, but unless I'm missing an obvious clue, there still have to be dozens, if not hundreds of similar signs.
Sorry, it seems I botched the clue. We were discovering MidAtlantic backcountry routes.
Original post fixed.
Got it! The google street view pic of the building is 9 years old and substantially different than what's in your pic. Good tagging!
Wow, that building really did get a face-lift. it looks much nicer now than what it was 9 years ago.
Here is a pic zoomed out a bit, the shape of the building is the same. The outbuilding in the back is substantially unchanged.
Is this on 287 just east of 99?
I rode on 287 to get there, but since it is on the NY side, wouldn't it be on 115?
Nutzy is not on that sign.
Just came from there and looked it over pretty good.
here we go, again...
I figured the first time some crew weed whacked around that signpost, it would be gone...
oh well.. I guess it pays to place him (as I've learned) out of 'general sight', like up on the post between the signs.. admiringly I fugged up when I dropped him on the ferry.. and regretted it for many years.
this might be beneficial to 'add' to the original rule post, as a caution, along with a suggestion to not let people at a drop location watch you drop the nut.. seems trite, and unnecessary, but well.. makes sense.
new nut. damn.
