I was going to hand him off to a buddy who is heading to Alaska but we had too many adult beverages that night and I forgot. I will drop Nutsy in the Pittsburgh area today.

    Drop:

I rode around for a while yesterday looking for a nice place to drop this that had some history or a story. Everything that I could think of was in the city. I wanted to drop it outside of the city, so I would not make someone, who is traveling, come into the city and battle traffic.

So I ended up riding around outside the city. I dropped it along a really nice dirt road where our dirt bike trails cross the road. You can see the dirt bike trails on google earth.

On the east side of the road, you will see two water meter covers. Right on the trail.

Nutsy is hiding on the underside of the lid of the right cover.

The whole cover just lifts up by the base.

Look up, under the cover to find Nutsy.

    Is that a grab?

    Nice!

I tried to make it not too difficult to find.

    no, no , no,

not a grab... wish I had time to run over there tho.
I was just commenting on how easy it was to find (via the power of the internet, and satellite view.

didn't need any more clues than you gave, which surprised me...

    happy hunting...

(I wouldn't want to drive all the way around P'burg, to make that grab... people from Ohio (Cleveland) don't like driving to P'burg...):imaposer:imaposer:imaposer:imaposer

I did have to laugh about the "dirtbike trails"... man, you need to go further north, towards kinzua, for dirt biking... thats where we cut our teeth back in 1973-1980...
    trails...
that "cowpath" you showed just goes to some guy's 100 acre farm field, for about 200 yards of "woods riding"...:imaposer:imaposer:imaposer

    all good tho..

Yeah, I was gonna give you crap about how it needed clues but I too found it in under a minute.

Those are just the trails you can see because they are quad width. Zoom out a bit. Every bit of woods has trails in it. Follow RT 76 and 28, there are hundreds of miles of singletrack in those woods.

I dunno, I thought Yinz'er's Google Earth Pic with the name of the road was just fine for finding it...

The road was pretty fun heading home from the location.

Planning on taking it north or west on Saturday. May add a bit to Nutsy if I have time :).
