it's a nice Country Road just don't read the guardrail
4 grabs total for this year?
pretty slow moving game....and it's winter in Ohio....
somehow this photo kinda tells the tail of the 2019 season
I started late in the game but I'll do my best to keep poor Nutsy moving. It was a good new years day ride last year. Maybe the weather will be good again this year and someone will need a place to ride to, if not maybe I'll take him to Canada next year when I go.
The place he is sitting now, is obscure enough... and taking him to Canada, isn't part of the game... so, let him sit.. (and it's bad form to move your own tag drop..)
this game used to move a bit more, back when it started.. unfortunately it stagnated. The game originally was played to move it "around the USA". Unfortunately again, when it sits in one "zone", it will sit until someone "wanders thru". I admit, I should have went and got it when it got placed last, before it snowed...
Have a safe and happy holiday season.
Thanks for clarification. I'll keep him in the USA. Unfortunately I put him on a dirt road in the middle of winter so he'll probably sit there till spring.
Just curious, does this mean just the lower 48, no Alaska?
Nutsy does not like rules........................they just cause strife.
However, he said that it seems we need the following guideline to keep the game moving!
You have one week to drop Nutsy at a new location unless actively posting from an extended road trip.
If no movememt/posts for two weeks, anyone can make get a new nut and drop it wherever the hell they want, no grab shot needed to get the game moving again.
When placing the nut at a drop site, give some thought to the following;
— If people see you hide it, they will investigate and probably take it.
— try to place Nutsy so that he is not easily seen or where landscapers/maintenance people will see and take it.
That said, if you post it in Alaska or Hawaii, it's pretty certain that it will die there.
Nutsy has spent too much time in PA. We have a fairly active PA TOR, however Nutsy gets ignored. I'm tempted to grab him and mail him back to RC Pilot - call it a "reset".
I'm planning on heading out to Montana in June. Was hoping to take him along. But you have a good idea, He has been sitting here for too long
Does not matter how long he sits. He moves when he moves; simple as that.
Keep in mind that if you grab him, you need not make an “epic journey” out of it.
All depends on the weather how much he moves. We got lucky last New Years day with nice weather, this year you might need a snowmobile to make a move. you never know what the weather will do.
Grab - first full day of winter ride to grab Nutsy.
Evans City Cemetery - just south of Evans City, PA proper off of Franklin Road. Nutsy is behind this brick sign - to the right as you face the sign. He is sandwiched between two rocks covered by leaves.
This is just not any small town cemetery, this is where the opening scene of The Night of the Living Dead was filmed in 1968.
They're coming to get you Barbara!
just couldn't move it from Pa..... could ya, or should I say "youn'z".....
but I have to admit, I love the tag, especially the shot with the Blair headstone... been there a couple times myself, love the movie as I grew up watching it over and over in Drive -Ins, here...
posed to be warm here tomorrow.. maybe the wife will forgive me for 126 mile, 2 hr 20 min each way ride.... even tho I tucked the bike in the corner for winter...
Bring it south east. Google maps puts its current location 356 riding miles from me. Can’t free up that kind of time for a while.
damn, it's not a long ride for me, but I jut got a "Honey do" list.. dammit man... I may get in trouble tho... it' worth it sometimes.. and I gotta get it outta Pa. and into Ohio.
and I have to save Barbara
or is that I gotta save Bub bah...
Grab. This is the point where everything went bad, not life-threatening, just everything went wrong. I will drop the nut somewhere this week.
If the Zombies are after you it is life threatening!
