Nice drop, Nutsy is westbound
damn, still waiting for my "mail in sticker" as OSHP told me "nope, you Will get a citation now, without the sticker.."... balloon pop..
good grab man, ride safe, I really waned to see "nutzy" again..
Looks a little wet. Stay safe and enjoy the ride. Nutsy is getting around a little more this year
Dropped nutsy Barnhurst mill covered bridge water very high but he is on bolt below where she is pointing AKA William's bridge.
Only a short 8 1/2 hours from north Georgia.
Excellent drop Donreid!
Nutsy is west bound to camp for the night.
Next stop? Stay tuned...
Nice to see the nut on the move
After a nights rest at Burr Oak State Oark we are ready to go east.
If all goes well we will reach our final destination on Friday.
For now we will document our journey east.
Let's see if we can make it.
The journey east has been good so far. I just might make it t the final destination.
Some pics taken along the way. (They may not upload in the order taken.)
The strange one with a power pole in the background....that power pole looks to be an 'engineered' product made of multiple 2 x 10s or 2x8s. Never recall seeing one like this before. What caught my eye was that it was not round.
The pick at the small waterfall is Piatt waterfall. There is a cave further up the hill but I was not going to tempt getting stuck in it...
It looks like nutsy is having a good time
Damn, I was just in that area yesterday.
It's Friday and I've made it, well almost. A thunderstorm rolled through the area so the drop will be made tomorrow. Sorry folks.
The ride out further east was great but not many stops were made along the way.
Some pics taken along the way. One set of pics is Buttermilk Falls in Indiana county. The large rock is along PA 144 as you near Ronovo while driving north (lots of scenic overlooks to the south).
Seriously??? Nutsy's been sitting for 6 weeks and you're going to take an extra day??
All in good fun... Ride on.
I'm east, ready, and waiting
Buttermilk falls is 1.5 hours from me! Got a new used Gold wing just for long distance tagging!
David and Laurie
Nutsy made it and is now waiting for the next adventure!
The location is near a site of the 1974 & 1976 AMA-NATC Moto championships. The road is Mill Hill Rd, Roaring Branch PA.
Nutsy is at the base of metal stake wedged between the stake and a rock. This marks the opening of a pipe that runs beneath the just down the hill from a gas well pad in background (also note the white gas line marker with yellow cap).
On a lighter note I have not seen a barber in a while due to the covid outbreak. A good friend of mine lent me a hat to complete the look..... :)
There are 4 or 5 different Buttermilk Falls in PA - three are within 1 hour of my house. The Buttermilk Falls in the photo is about 20 minutes east of Blairsville PA - off of Route 22. You may want to wait for some rain - things are pretty dry down here is SW PA.
