Hey welcome. Send me a pm. I'm in Orem but was just in Logan last weekend. I've got a buddy up there who rides and a family.

I'm riding tomorrow but down here in Hobble Creek area if you want to ride badly enough.

I'm familiar with the WR as well. Currently I ride a Husaberg FE390 (up for sale) and a new FX450. PLUS...I have an ST1300. We're practically family. Lol

Thanks for all of the responses! I actually went riding yesterday with my roommate, just near town on some farm trails near Hyde Park. Ended up going down a trail so steep that I was just sliding both wheels locked up. One of the most technically challenging things I've ever done on the KLR for sure. If I can get the WR running, I may attempt it on that, but it was still really intense. I'm going to be out of town for a week or two, but when I get back I'd love to meet up to ride. I can get the KLR about anywhere and don't mind riding for a ride. I could get to SLC.

Welcome to Logan, what part of Colorado? I am a Colorado to Logan transplant myself. Riding a 990A, 620 RXC and 350 xcf. I am going to be off the bike for a few weeks but after that I’d be happy to show you the good stuff if winter hasn’t set in yet.

Oh but seriously I’d circumnavigate the lake anytime, I’ve ridden from Ogden to the Sun Tunnels/Lucin Ghost town/Wendover a couple of times via the Union Pacific Promentory causeway (speaking of illegal), and it’s always been a great ride.

Just be careful not to get any dog brain (see what I did there) ideas about taking a short cut. I took a 26 mile walk to find a rescue crew.

Hey fellow Utards! Dropping in on this thread to let everyone know our suspension brand is alive and well under different management in a new shop location in Bountiful. We just renovated and expanded last month and created a new dedicated work space for custom suspension work. We're on a new and updated website too. Check us out and consider getting your suspension work done before the spring rush.

we just had snow a couple days ago, in the 50’s yesterday and today though so it’s melting off. Shaded canyons will still have snow and ice. Sunny areas will be melted off and fine.

Maybe Cliffhanger? The problem is that if your not down low in sandy areas then you’ll hit nasty mud. I saw in another post that someone rode Lockart Basin recently, that would work well with lots of hard, wet , sand.

I did a little riding in Arches this past weekend. Camped just outside the park to the North and road my KTM over to tower arch and around Saturday. A little snow and ice in places but not terrible. I just bought the bike and was anxious to get on it. My Avatar pic is from Saturday on the Tower Arch trail.
