It's got enough power for the mountains; but, not enough for 2 big people & luggage for the plains.

The suspension is a little stiff for my light ass. Going to do something about that later this year. My Wilbers suspension on the G650X is amazing! Need something like that for the V7C.

It's a riot riding fast. Think you're burning up the road and you're only doing 90. Kinda keeps me in rein. I don't have much self control.

Plus there's always the bonus of showing up the bigger, faster bikes.

Hey I've seen that bike (I think)! We stopped in at your shop last summer. The Guzzi was covered but I knew what it was. I was actually more interested in that pretty little Benelli.

Yeah, there were a couple moments of fun:

-AlaCan Hwy between Destruction Bay and the U.S. Border going & coming. The pavement was so buckled it was like a paved motocross course. Stood up on the pegs and acted like an ass. Both times. It was great! Thanks Wilbers for a fantastic suspension! It was worth every penny. Bet all the Blue hairs in the tour buses were wagging their tongues. :rofl

-The Haul Road Saturday morning on the way to Coldfoot. Warm weather in the morning. :clap Once again, I stood up and acted like an ass. Mefo's tires were perfect. The loose gravel in the construction zones was nothing. Then the packed earth was heaven! At 90, it felt a little light in the front. 89 was just right.

Four weeks of rain is just too much for a vacation. It's good to me home now.

Took it home yesterday. Running out of room at the shop; &, I really need to start working on the Benelli to make it road worthy.

Back on subject, a shot of the V7C with the H&B Standard Alloy Panniers. I needed the panniers for the HP2, so they weren't on the V7C for long. I think the Junior bags look better anyway.

Has anyone seen/bought one of the burnt orange/red ones.
I saw a picture of one, but haven't seen one in person yet. But it's looking more and more like the next addition to the fleet.

Yep - Very much on the red side of orange, good looking bike. I like the white the best myself (or the racer - local dealer has one of those too) but it's a nice color, looks VERY deep (if that makes sense).

Yes I've seen one. I should have taken a pic... :(
It's absolutely gorgeous in that color. It has the 90th anniversary badge stamped on top of the tank.
If you remember the earlier red color of the Aprilia Caponord, that's what it is.

I think I must have one.
I found a picture and have put up as my desktop background. It will stay there until there is a real one in the garage.

I would love to see one of these with 17" black Woody's Wheels on modern radial tires.
Too bad there isn't an easy way to upgrade to double front discs as well.....You know, true retro styling but a little more modern chassis.
