That’s going to be one sweet rig when you get done.
I rented this TT100 in California in '14 . I only had it for 48 hours , but , flogged it to Arizona and back , 700+ miles. The seat was OK at first , then increasingly bothersome. I probably stood on the pegs for 100 of the miles just get off the cursed thing.
As always , your mileage may vary.

Mounts for the ugly POS? Did you have to put the post up twice? Prmurat?
The ideas I have so far and one I will likely go with will be for the front at least is a heavier than normal crash bar.
I have been away from home a fair bit with my trip to see the kids (3weeks) and working away last week and will again next week as well.
Another issue that will sadly impact my time in the near future is my younger brothers mesothelioma.
He seems to have a limited life expectancy now.
60 is a bit young for a healthy man (was very) to pass but that is looking like his time now.
Diagnosed in November, made his 60th in Feb.
He was the final reason I bought the Bobber.
Seems life is short.
Do the things on your heart to while you can.
I blessed to live 100 meters from and in view of this spot.
Here is The Guzzi with the modified Triumph seat after a successful test ride to Boddington and back for a weeks or so of work.
Will do more to it but seems to heading in the general direction of a reasonable level of comfort.

I was supposed to head out for work Monday at a gold mine shut down (maintenance on conveyor belt rollers/ crushers)
But I don't look like having my police clearance get here in time to go.
If not I will order some steel (DOM) which sadly has to come ex East (Sydney) as I will be home for the delivery I think?
As I said a crash bar on the front made from 25 or even 28mm tube.
The Guzzi frame is 28mm and I can get 3mm wall thickness in 28 OD and up to 6mm wall thickness in 25mm OD.
Not sure the thickness required but there is the if in doubt make it stout train of thought.
I tend to think 3mm would be fine as well workable with my new hand rollers.
I have a 25mm set of dies so that will be it.
A crash bar on the back the way they were on some old Guzzi's maybe the go as well.
Lots of mounting/ brace points
I have some Givi panniers I want to mount also that will be a tight squeeze so there are a few questions to be answered there.
Caught up with my mate about the sidecar body design this week.
As could be expected for a guy who is still in start up mode with his own business the plans are only part done.
Will probably need to lubricate his motivation a bit at the local watering hole.
May even cost me a few days working on his jobs LOL.
What are your plans if any for front end geometry changes?

Well that was different.
Plane was full throttle on the runway when a red light came on.
Went straight to full brakes and pulled of the runway.
Several futile attempts to fix it and we disembarked at the workshop.
Oh well a good flight (or non flight) is one you walk away from.
Next attempt hopefully with a fresh plane.
Be 5 hrs later than I thought.
I have yet to change the geometry on either of the rigs I have owned, but I was also a poor graduate student and a poorer new clergyman at the time. Having said that, I also didn't feel that either one needed a change. In case this one does, I'd be interested in your idea.
Oh, yeah, sorry about your brother. That kind of thing is brutal to deal with.
Nearly 4 months latter I picked this up from the dealers.
I am pleased to say it came with wheel bearings and seals.
20mm axle size.
Just need an axle now.
Oh and my mate seems to think he will actually draft up some plans after this week.
Be nice if I could use a drafting programme.
It's a bit over a month now since my younger brother passed and the world seems to have continued on it's way.
Have been a bit busy working as well since.
Still have had a couple of sessions working on the Guzzi project.
I am still sorting some of the basic short comings the Bobber theme has built into my bike.
Starting with a change in the handlebar mounts.
The stock mounts are beautifully sculptured pieces but not suitable for my longer arms so of they came.
I had reversed the stock mounts to give a little distance as a stop gap but it was a bit ordinary at best and blocked the gauge view a little as well.
Brake line was a little tight against the triple tree so had to make a 10mm spacer from Ali to take the pressure off.
Such a simple project but I lost count of the times I removed and re fitted those bars.
Even tried some others.

Currently got the stock seat with a gel pad on it.
Still a long way from a long distance seat.
Makes me go numb in the weirdest place.
Rang old mate Bertrand Cadart about fitting a set of Fournales shocks to the Guzzi.
I also asked about fitting slightly longer shocks to increase the travel a bit.
He recommended that I jack the bike up at my desired height to check what would foul.
Standard shock is 350mm eye to eye.
I was going for 400mm.
The uni joints were just starting to clunk at that so I am thinking 380mm should be safe.
Started with 110mm clearance under the mudguard standard.
It went to 155/160mm clearance under the guard so I could pick up almost 50mm extra travel and some ride height.
Ride height should not be that much higher but overall travel and comfort should work better.
Anyone tried this?
Oh as a side issue I found a V9 power chart.
Was curious as to the power of an 1980's 850.
Seems they made fair bit more back then.
Through more revs mostly.
1975 850 made 68HP @ 7000 revs.
Peak torque I think @ around 6000 revs.
