Evidently no pelvic thrusting women with phones in the train station. Damn.... Going up the tallest skyscraper in Japan. We’ve been on the two tall towers on the right side. Awesome views on a very nice day. You can see the zoo from here. Dead center you can see the small tower we went up yesterday.
Looking towards the ocean. Very crowded. Cemetery taking up valuable real estate. Happy Birthday Marines!
Today was a foot race up the stairs to the top of the skyscraper. No thanks! Pretty sure she was not competing. Famous Glico running man sign. Place was hopping on a Sunday.
Street food. Grilled crab legs. Walked along the canal enjoying the weather. Steam punk clock. I think. Mango mint Julip.
Last supper in Osaka. Of course it comes with rice. Steak, fries, and macaroni. Treated myself to a small sundae to finish things off. Nice weekend visit. Flying back to Tokyo tomorrow morning. About 2 months left in country.
Fuck me. That’s gas leaking. There’s the possible culprit. Nice pimple under the decal. Very soft. Not sure if it’s rust or just a split or poked hole. Ordered a 22L Acerbis replacement with a special fitting kit. Time for some shade tree wrenching.
supply Corps Foundation golf scramble. My cart buddy LCDR Long Tran. The other two knuckleheads in my foursome. We shot a 78. Winners shot an incredible 51. Cold day but we had fun on the Atsugi course. last night wife and I headed in to Tokyo for a Greek wine tasting dinner.

So sad. Stickers and plates removed. Done riding in Japan. Good news is that de-registration of the bikes is the first step to importing.
Nekid and stealthy. Little bike is ready to go. Accessories and mirrors removed, battery disconnected and very rusty fuel emptied from the tank. Moving company came out today to measure the bikes. Went up to the office in Yokohama to start the de-registration process. Multiple stamps, forms, and visiting several buildings and windows to have bureaucrats work their magic. Still need to hit a few stops tomorrow to include City Hall. I’m exhausted.
Just realized I have 7 full days in the office before I depart Japan in January . Heading to San Diego this week for one last boondoggle conference. Then pack out, a quick medical trip to Hawaii, couple weeks vacation, then Bob’s your uncle I’m out. Getting cold here. I might invest in heated toilet seats once I get back. So comfy.
WOW … I can't believe it's all over .. I want to thank you so much for taking us all along on your and Melinda's travels about the area... Sure will be glad to have ya back in the states
Staged Red Peril in front of the wife’s work building. She’s back in VA spending the holiday with her parents. Every once in a while you get a defective can. Might have froze at one point. I got it open and still fizzy so I drank it. I may get explosive projectile diarrhea on the plane. I hope not.... wasting time waiting for my driver for the ride to the airport. Makes sense cuz riding bikes down steps is dangerous. still haven’t started permanent repairs on the landslide. They did however put up a chain link barrier that might slow down a boulder before it clocks you.
peeking through the fence. There lies a small one. chain link barrier is only one car wide so they set up these automatic lights that alternate traffic. Cheaper than a flag man and 24/7. Mirror shot because you filthy animals can’t get enough of the stache. safely ensconced at the airport. A little pick me up at Starbucks. Customs guy liked my stache. At least I think that is what he said. Breezed through ticket counter, security, and customs. Lucked out. Unfortunately American wanted extra dough for a freaking aisle seat. I’ve got a window all the way to San Diego. I guess that’s not as desirable as an aisle.
