I sure hope he gets to fly business class. I used to have to fly to China for work. Thankfully we were permitted to go business class on flights to Asia because they are so wicked long. In many business class seats you can actually fully recline and kind of get some sleep - particularly if you've got an Ambien or two. And in business class you can have a piece of PIE anytime you want.:lol3

Flight departs Sunday at 0600. Just got finished prepping the two KLRs for storage. Packing is another story. I have everything laid out on the bed. My wife's mission is to cram 300 lbs of shit into a 150 lb capacity bag. She's good at that type of thing. They are NOT upgrading me. I'm flying coach because that is what the tax payers and Uncle Sam want me to do. I'll be doing wind sprints up the aisle to keep the blood clots at bay. I also have an aisle seat so I can cheat and stick my abnormally broad shoulders into the aisle. Household Goods won't be packed until we have a buyer for the house. Although in preparation we have been making dump runs, donations, and gifting the accumulation of things that just happens when you stay in one place too long. ScottyP is still probably sorting through his alcohol windfall.

My boss and his driver are picking us up at the airport in Tokyo. He emailed me a picture of him. I thought about reciprocating but didn't want to scare him off. Been looking at used bikes on Yahoo Auction. Some interesting things available. My only phone was my work Blackberry which is turned in. I'll post up the hairy details of the trip once I get checked into the Navy Lodge.

I feel for him. I made that trip, but from LAX, and it was miserable. Thankfully the folks at Narita have there stuff together and process you through customs pretty quick. Joke in oor taste, but hey that's the way I roll.

ROR will be Mike's expression very soon. Goggle it! And yes it is bad. LOL

Sweet baby Jesus. Just woke up from my fist night in Japan. Flight was LONG. On the hop to Atlanta say next to a guy so fat the arm rest couldn't be lowered. He took up 1/3 of my ticketed space. Hell, but I can put up with almost anything for an hour or so, The flight from Atlanta to Narita was better. I was again on the aisle and had two small Asian dudes on the inside. Unfortunately they had small Asian bladders that needed emptied often. I watched a shit load of movies and the Delta flight that was really Viet Nam Airways kept us pretty well fed with free booze, in coach.

Bob was right, the airport was run like a well oiled machine and I was through immigration, baggage, and customs real quick. Found my wife and boss right away for a two ride to base. Went out for dinner with my new boss. First meal in Japan was,,,, Wait for it,,,, Korean BBQ,

Have to check in today and crank out some administrative paperwork. I'll try to spice this up with some pictures here shortly.
