I have a '17 701 and doing more and more overnighters with it. I used to only use my Africa Twin for overnighter type rides but damn if this 701 isn't a blast to get far back into the woods. I have Mosko R80's, and although they work ok with the Africa Twin, they definitely swing around on the 701. Best I can tell it's because they are fully unsupported along the sides of the 701 and this allows them to swing (right to left) enough that I am wondering if something like what Vanasche makes would be a good idea. Anyone have these on their 701 that can elaborate a bit on how well the Vanasche works, or even to comment if you suggest another solution? I ride fairly aggressively and the idea is to be able to use the 701 for getting into some multiday trips on challenging trails. Thanks everyone!
