Shoot me a PM. I was thinking about going on Boxing Day. I might be able to squeeze in a weekend ride, too! Let me know.

I’m new to this forum thing. So I don’t know how to PM yet. Lol. Boxing Day has great potential. How does one PM?

Great video. Bremmer definitely looked like a two man job. Also that earlier washout looked tricky.

13:00 might be a bit late for me. I was thinking as early as possible. I was thinking 0900 - 1000. But the thing where I live is that I’m sitting just below the snow line which means that the roads can often get icy in the AM which CAN push me back a few. It’s hard for me to commit to a time given the weather these next few days. If it’s icy - then 1300 would be perfect. Wish I could be more reliant this time of year!!

I think he was asking how to send a personal message on advrider. (In which case, you click on someones avatar (picture) next to their message, and then click "start a coversation").
My boxing day schedule is pretty flexible aside from possibly doing a little shopping at around noon.

3D769E6A-DFF0-483F-B3F5-ACA7BE7DC7F5.jpeg My wife let me off my leash today. She needed to do a little last minute shopping. So I made a run up to the gate on Sumas mountain. The last half kilometer got snowy. Lovin’ the traction control adjustability.

Nice. We must have missed each other! Was up there, too. I live just a few KM from the trailhead.

Merry Christmas everyone! Just looking at the weather for tonight and tomorrow, and there is a "special weather statement" for the valley. "Wet snow is possible tonight and on Boxing Day with accumulations likely over higher terrain." There's probably a good chance that I won't be able to get out tomorrow. As much as I'd like to spearhead a ride tomorrow, I will more than likely be the one that opts out. If anyone is still planning on heading out, let me know of a time and if I can make it, I'll try. Otherwise, tomorrow might just not work for me. In the warmer months, I am a little more reliable than this. :D

I think at this point in the game, I might not be able to plan anything rather, taking advantage of what the weather throws at me and just going. It's looking like Friday is still good but who REALLY knows. If anyone is in the same boat as me, shoot me your number and when the weather has less of a chance of not playing well in the higher elevations, we can just go.

    Safe travels!

I had a funny feeling that you might live on Sumas. Yeah it’s all about the weather this time of year. Coming down the mountain would be way to sketchy if there’s even a hint of snow on the paved. Crazy today is minty. Tomorrow? Well we can only hope for the best.
    Cheers.

The snow is now sticking. I might be sitting today out. Sorry!

I hear you. 9:30 and it’s sticking to the cars wind shields. I’m tempted to skip out of work tomorrow for a ride. There’s not much going on at work, waiting for deliveries. What do you think?

I'm around Sumas as well. I'll keep an eye open for up coming rides. I still have street tires on the bike until next riding season, so I have to keep it on the pavement for the time.

Not a bad afternoon for a ride today!

    Does anyone need a topbox?
I have a princess auto pelican ripoff case free to a good home. I had it on the bike to go to Tuk and back this summer. I dont have space for it in my little condo storage locker. Its on the bike in the attached pic.
There are 4 holes drilled in the bottom from mounting it on my AT and four holes in the top from a rotopax mount. Rotopax is also available with it, although I would want a few bucks for that.
