I find that our little Island doesn't get the justification it deserves for dirt riding so I thought I would start a thread dedicated to dirt on the Island and as well it will encourage me to post more pictures of me and my knuckle head buddies out and about on our dual sports.

Me and a buddy out today, Decemeber 30th, him on his 96' DR650 me on my 02' DRZ400E

Jealous! Nothing but snow in the Kamloops area...and -10c this morning. Wish I was there!

Glad some one is getting out between storm cells, I took my bike out for a short spin the other day for the first time since November... With the rain and wind we have had the last bit there has not been much incentive, but at least the snow is staying in the mountains where it belongs.. Building another bike for the stable is keeping me occupied on the rainy days...

I recommend providing a brief description under the pics of the specific area you are exploring. I enjoy google mapping-it to see where dudes are reefing their knobs. You gotta know pal, there are a lot of inmates who would sacrifice a testicle to have Vancouver Island as their riding turf. It's like living right next door to an all girls parochial school. No doubt the riding gods were looking down on you when you were conceived.

Maybe some day I'll get out there. Soon as I do I'm gonna make a bee line for Fanny Bay to see if the legend is true!

A ride with a motley crew on Jan 27th. Started out up behind Shawnigan Lake on Kapor main, tried to get up and over some sort of Mountain or another but got turned back due to snow but found some great roads non the less and fun was had by all.

And of course no day is complete without someone running out of fuel on the way home
