Seems like that's the good thing about the Versys, you just get it and ride it. You've got the bash plate and hand guards, there's not too much else to do

Added some protection to the little VX. Took a short ride and was glad I got the Richochet skid plate. I used it a few times this evening.

As usual, I didn't get pics of the rough areas because I was busy riding. I need to get my video camera mounted on the bike. Has anyone found a good place to mount one? 20190816_185859.jpg [
About ten years ago I crossed the river here on my DR650.
I think I will skip it on the Versys!

The Wolfman duffle lays nice this way......and I can get my old legs/boots clear mounting much more easily :lol3 And honestly they cut the air much better this way.

Exactly the same thoughts I had when I saw your setup. Hadn't considered the Givis before, now you have me considering them.

I get what you mean about the 2 bikes similar characters. I often find myself reliving some of my old 2-stroke streetbike memories when riding the Vx.

Very nice work on the RD!

Cape Breton currently. Made basecamp and offloaded a bunch of crap, returning our beloved bike back to her nimble self.

Note the Enduristan 4E as improvised tailpack instead of tank bag. It’s too big for the bike/me to stand up comfortably, and I need to on a lot of these Nova Scotia roads.
